I like "The Times are Changing", "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright", "Girl from the North Country", "Masters of War", "Mr. Tambourine Man", "Shelter from the Storm", "Hurricane", "Like a Rolling Stone", and "Blowing in the Wind". The Band is incredible as well!

In the late 70s Bob Dylan claimed to be a christian and put out a few christian albums (as Nadro stated). He also played harmonica on a Keith Green track. However, I believe that he has since denied Christ and the christian walk.

Oh Man. Bob Dylan = greatest lyricist of all time.

My friend tells me of his first Electric Tour (Where he started playing the electric). And one time he got up on stage for the first time in a certain town, with his new electric guitar in hand. And people starting yelling BETRAYAL and all this other Jazz. And the right before he started playing "Like A Rolling Stone" someone yelled out JUDASSSSS!!!! And since it was so quite everyone heard it. So Bob gets really angry and gets on the mic and goes, "I Can't believe this ****!" and turns around to the band and says "Play ******* loud!" and turns around and plays one of the best performances of Like A Rolling Stone to have ever been heard by human ears. It's not a rare bootleg which my friend has and I'm trying to get from him.

Gotta Love Bob Dylan.

To Clarify: Evryone got mad at Bob Dylan for switching from acoustic to electric guitar. Cuae he was a folk ICON everyone thought he was selling out for going to electirc, but he just got bored with the darned thing.

I've heard that copy!!! There is nothing like hearing Bob's distinct voice say "I can't believe this!" Aww, good thing the Band rocked.

I can appreciate Dylan though I wouldn't call myself a rabid fan of his. If I were, I would feel most betrayed by his actual appearance (not just his song) in the new Victoria's Secret commercial. I saw it last night. They must have paid big bucks for him to sell his soul to the corporate devil. Old hippies everywhere should be in mourning.

Funny, he played I Believe In You just last night in D.C.
I don't necessarily think that that means anything. The lyrics don't point out anyone in particular. Besides, if it is a good song of his from the past, why wouldn't he play it?

I still a relatively new to Dylan (in comparison to some of my friends) and I've only got about 5 or 6 of his albums. I think Times are a-changin' is an amazing album, especially Lonesome death of Hattie Carol and Boot of Spanish Leather. I think Hurricane is an incredible song too, an epic you might say. His social commentary is unsurpassed I think.

cheers,
Andy
