Bob Barker's final episode of Price is Right

Did anyone watch Bob Barker's final episode of The Price is Right yesterday? I did. I've been watching him for the last 15 years. I will miss him.

I liked how the final episode was pretty low key. Nothing fancy except for the confetti. The format was the same as all the other shows. The only thing that was diffrent was they gave away super expensive cars in the showcase. For his final speech, Bob thanked people for watching him and to remind people to spay or neuter their pets. Even without all the hype, I really liked it and I will miss Bob Barker.

well I he's just backing her to do it. If she takes over then the ratings will spike up for the first episode and then decline.

I'm not a big Rosie fan in any way, but I think she'd actually be a great host for the show. She hosted one of the Survivor Reunion Shows and she did a great job. She was also good back in the day when she was a VJ on VH1.

It wouldn't have been good if she had gotten the job. Too many of the big time fans were REALLY opposed to it.

Sorry to bump up this thread, but I just found it...

I was actually AT Bob Barker's last show. I even have some of the confetti that I picked up off the studio floor as a souvenir LOL! I've been a huge fan for as long as I can remember. In 1999, I went out there for the first time to see the show....and came home with a 2000 Chevy Malibu. Still sittin' in my driveway today! God is good!

To me the show is not the same anymore. I loved TPIR because of Bob Barker. I think Drew Carey is doing ok...and he's his own person, and it's his gig now. But I can't help but reflect on how good it really was when Bob was holding the mic.
