Blue anemone

I found this spring flower in our garden when I took my dog outside this morning. I just had to take a pic of it. I didn't know they grew this far north!

(I just have a really cheap digital camera, so it's not that good.. )

It may be a cheap camera but the detail is good. Cropping it may enhance it.

One piece of advice for next time, GET CLOSER!! It really adds a lot!

Yeah, the bottom is distractingly in focus. It's not a bad picture, so you've got a pretty good camera there. Just try to get ONLY the flower in focus and it'll pop out better. You could also blur the bottom (the bit in focus) using some kind of editing software, but it'd be good to understand how you can create the effect without editing the picture afterwards.
