  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ummm. . .maybe something is wrong with my computer, but when i click on the link, it says that the server is not found. Reading papers, huh? That's what I do best! If anyone ever need grammatical or structural help on their papers, let me help! My friends think I'm weird, but I think it's actually loads of fun!

I need feedback on that paper before I submit it.
I thought it was good, but I had a couple of format suggestions. First, make sure to provide page numbers for your references. Second, deigning the use of first person is usually a good idea for academic papers. Third, it is proper to cite the Bible translation you are quoting. Aristotle was the Greek philosopher to posit an Unmoved Mover, in the Physics, Book VIII. Moreover, Aristotle definitely affirmed free choice, distinguishing between causes per se and causes per accidens. He also drew a distinction between chance and luck. See Physics, Books III-V. Oh, and lastly, in text citations should be placed inside the sentence (that is, before the period), unless it is a blockquote, at which time it comes after the last sentence.

Other than these minor formatting and historical points (which no one would probably notice, anyway), I thought the paper was good, the arguments clearly laid out, and the content well supported. Good job.

OK, I give up. I'm giving in to the fad. I'm following the crowd. Behold mine fledgeling blog: Balaam's Donkey

Take a look at it. Also, I would like some input on my paper if anyone has the time to read it.

Wecome to the Blogisphere.
