Blessing Enemies

Real-time adversarial acts of ulterior motives, sadly being discovered from believers against other believers are the kind that hurts most.

Without Him, we can do ‘nothing’, including blessing our enemies.

"I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” (john 15:7)​

Though my enemy strives in gainsay, honorable assent is protected by truth.

“Poverty and disgrace come to him who ignores instruction, but whoever heeds reproof is honored.” (Proverbs 13:18)

Enemies in our life come to test and try us. We experience the battle of the flesh against sin and its effects on our lives,but Jesus is the Light of the world. When He shines into our heart and life the darkness disperses. He is our hope. He can transform our life. He overcomes the evil in us and brings truth and freedom. Be free in Him today!

Lest we fail to cite often enough, our ultimate enemy or adversary who pulls in unstable souls to do his bidding is of course the Devil, Satan, that old deceiver who ever seeks to destroy us. I think upon the domain he encircles. It is depressing to realize how far and wide this effect is he wields. And it matters not if that individual is Churched or not. Speaking of which, those who are mistakenly using the name of Christ to rise up against a brother is by far the deepest hurt.

If people were to ask why does this occur, I would venture nine-times out of ten it would come down to bad doctrine. At least, when the heathen come to try us, we generally know it comes from gross ignorance of God’s many remedies. But those who wage continual fault as a (“false brethren”) Christian upset and scatter everything within and beyond reach.
