The story of his conversion from deism to Christianity is briefly but beautifully told in the poem titled "The Star of Bethlehem." He entered St. John's College, Cambridge, in 1805 as a servitor; but died October 19, 1806, in the second year of his college course, when only twenty-one years of age.

Correct! Though mostly true, a grossly inadequate definition, even incorrect if he were under severe persecution. For we do have certain obligations with mankind and more so to “do good” to the brotherhood, so it does matter if say an issue arose. This much we know to submit ourselves to one another (Ep 5:21). But notice in the following, when the precious fruit has been wrought in loving kindness, petitions for all those surrounding a brother, be that lost or saved stand to benefit. I recall Paul’s just outlook for those who were not in the body,

Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm; the Lord will repay him according to his deeds.

May the Lord show mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains.

Rejoice with me, for I think my list is growing according to the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, glory to His name -IF- I be thought worthy to suffer anything at all because of it, and that appears to be the case of the "sword" revisited, Hallelujah!

Are there perils, is danger close at hand God knows and knows how to deliver from un-reasonable men, sometimes even under the banner of Christianity. As unfortunate as that is, we must not underestimate the Lord's and the Apostle's caring remarks, beware of the deceiver!
