The boy wouldn't be swaddled hated it and screamed the place down if you tryed.
We have never really used blankets of any sort, he's happiest in a sleeping bag/grow bag, just zip him up and if you've got the tog right you only need that and a undersheet.
Strangly we spoke to a hebrew scholar/prophet who said that the name we give him had a sense of openess, expansiveness, heading out to the horizon. So we shouldn't be surprised he hated being confined.
