CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

So why do you have design in the OP title?
I've been wondering that too.
If a pair of Aces demonstrates design because of the chances of they showing up like that, then any two cards should show design, since their chances are the same.

It is special pleading to say that other complex systems can be explained by natural mechanisms but life is just too darn complex so therefore God.
Your posts are the best evidence of your evasiveness so I'll let them stand on their own.

This confusion is probably better than any point I could have made. You guys see no design in the example because why would you? But when it comes to biology well of course its all designed! It's just so complex it can't possibly be anything other than some super special design!

The "design" in blackjack are on the cards and the instructions to the game, and have nothing to do with how the cards fall.
Both the printing on the cards and the written instructions come from an intelligent source.
