Blackheads

I have really bad blackheads. DOes anyone have ways to get rid of them?

I use it and although it doesn't make them totally disappear, you don't notice them nearly as much. Also the amount of pimples I get was cut about 90%. Amazing stuff.

You could try those strip things that you put on your nose. I have heard that they really hurt though.

cut a lemon in half and start using it after you wash your face.just lightly scrub your oily areas,or prone areas with this fruit.let me know how it works for you,its a family remedy in hawaii that we do.

I love the Biore strips. They work really good. I haven't had any problems with them hurting at all, but I have heard a few people say they hurt.

Dietary changes can sometimes help, plus drinking enough water. I've also had good luck with taking a 'hair skin and nails' vitamin I found at the health food store.

Also, if you exfoliate your skin, remember to not scrub too hard!

I have bad blackheads...mostly on my nose and some on my chin! I don't like using the apricot scrub, because it makes me break out!!! I think I might try that lemon trick, though!

I tried them once and I ended up with the 2 biggest pimples I've ever seen on my nose. Go figure.

I'm with Lizzi4Christ, try St. Ives. I use their Apricot Scrub daily and it has really helped my complexion.

Apparently this isn't really that good 2 use on your face. The ground up nuts will cut the skin. I have used this in the past, but never realy like it. When I heard about the damage it does to your i thought about how hard thise little peices were and realized that was why I didn't like it. but hey if it works 4 ya and u like it then I say stick w/ it. It is worth it 2 give it a try...

I use Ocean Salt from Lush. It has lime juice, ocean salt-and other natural products. The taste is pretty good 2!!!LOL

No don't squeeze them. I have a tool that is supposed to help and you just slide it over your skin and they come out. and on the other end is a pimple remove too.

Don't do that at all unless you want huge craters on your face, squeezing pimples and blackheads can cause scars very easily, bad bad idea. I recommend talking to a dermatologist about it, they can give you something stronger if you have a real problem with them.

Anyway, now ladies and gents, I present the easiest and cheapest way to eliminate blackheads:
You all talked about the Biore strips? Yes, those work. However, they cost an arm and a leg. Now you can get the same effect and same results, but for mere pennies. Secret ingredient? GLUE. That's right, plain old white school glue. You remember grade school, when it was fun to get glue on your hand, let it dry, and peel it off? Exactly. Do that, only to your nose.

I'm dead serious, this works. Make sure you get the white glue that is specifically "school glue" -- it's cheapest, and also non-toxic. Try it, you'll be amazed.

i got a prescription from my dermatologist which seemed to help. I usually squeeze them though and they go away quicker.....

I have oily skin, which makes it one, prone to black heads and too rather reseliant, i wash with burts bees facial products, use a pore sucker thing, and if all else fails squeeze them (which can leave scars on most ppl BTW) black heads are like my white whale to my ahab! lol

i have also used straight rubbing alcohol as an astringent

Wow I thought I was the only one who had major problems with blackheads and acne. I think i will try the lemon trick and take the hair skin and nail vitiman! Thanks a lot!

I find that if they are not too big than just leaving them and using a medicated pad (can be bought at drugstores). I don't scar very easily (I actually have only ever gotten 1 scar.. It is hardly noticable) so squeezing is the only option for me if they are bigger.
