Are there any Christians out there who like Black Sabbath? They are my favourite band, and I also love Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and Deep Purple. Though I often get flak from other Christians who judge my whole Christian worth by the music that I enjoy. Any comments?

I have liked Black Sabbath for over twenty Years ......I can still remember the effect of listening to SOSFRAR it "blew my mind" 
They were a great counterbalance to my love of Queen!
Funnily enough Brian May and Tony Iommi are good friends , I remember the bits off stage at Live Aid....soon to be reissued on DVD!

I love Sabbath. I have all of there studio albums and a couple live ones. They were one of the bands that got me into heavy metal. I usually never catch **** about liking them though. My mom did when I was younger but she grew to except them and the other bands I listen to.

we all get judged for musical interests, especially when you taste is in what people call "the devil's music"
but on topic, Sabbath, Deep Purple and ACDC aren't up there on my favs list, im not one for classic rock or older metal, but i do enjoy the likes of Queen, Guns N' Roses and Judas Priest

ppl always criticize me for listening to megadeth...and it right well makes me mad! first of all, there rhythm guitarist/main song writer/vocalist is a christian, but has very different views about it then most, and secondly, they judge the name megadeth b4 they even know what it stands for, it stands for atomic war, and how they protest it, and there logo/icon vic rattlehead stands for "hear no evil, say no evil, do no evil"...so next time u see someone saying that megadeth is 'wrong" or "bad" tell em that

I love their music to this day. My favorites are Paranoid and We Sold Our Souls.
My friend saw their last tour with Ozzy and a new band called Van Halen was opening for them. He said Van Halen blew them away and Ozzy seemed to know it. He said Ozzy was sitting down on stage with his head in his hands during the show.
I liked some of Ozzy's stuff, especially the first two with Randy. I like Ozzy as a person too, as well as the Black Sabbath drummer.
