• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I ran out of meds for both and I know I'm going into a deep depression. I hear voices and my mood is extremely off. I have nightmares and constant fear of God's Judgment with the OCD. I feel hopeless like there is nothing anyone can do for me. Suicide seems like the only true option out there to get rid of this suffering. IDK why I keep fighting when I could just let go.

I have many of the same symptoms as you. I had similar feelings a few weeks back (see my post "Whats the Point?"). Can you call your Dr and get a new perscription faxed to the local pharmacy? Its a fight, every day is a struggle, and you're wondering "Whats the point to enduing all this suffering?" What I can tell you is that the meds will help, even if they need to be changed or the dosage increased. Regardless of how you feel, just remind yourself that there are others in your life who care deeply for you and would be heart-broken if you left them.

One thing my friends (of which I have only 2) have taught me is that they don't care that I'm BP, and that I frequently need their help to get through a week - they still love me and would do anything they could to help me when I'm down. Don't be afraid to tell the people you care about exactly how you feel - you may find they care a lot more for you than you'd expect and would be willing to do whatever they can to help you as well.
