Pr 25:2 ¶ It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.
Notice here how the Bible equates [true] scientists with kings?
Good grief. Proverbs 25 is not talking about scientists, but about kings. Read on and you will see verses that could not possibly be about scientists:
Take away the wicked [from] before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness.
Of course, if you really think this is about scientists, then:
"Put not forth thyself in the presence of the king, and stand not in the place of great [men]: "
Don't you violate this all the time when you tell us scientists are wrong?
Remember, AV, it was Christians who were scientists, and most often ministers, who showed that creationism was wrong.
Well, I don't want to go quoting the book, as it does have a copyright, but basically it says that a study of the ant colonies and how they delegate authority in an extremely busy environment to keep things running like a well-oiled machine is worthy of transposition into the commercial airline industry.Wait, what?
You lost me with this one. Care to elaborate?
Have a good day, Lucaspa.Doesn't your signature also say "Science can take a hike"?

LOL -- I had just the opposite image.I suppose I can see the similarities, though it did conjure up amusing images in my head of ants flying tiny planes around everywhere.![]()
I thought you took the Bible LITERALLY. Termites are not ants.
I have been wondering the same thing.Doesn't your signature also say "Science can take a hike"?
Hmmm.... looks like AVET doesn't want to explain how a walking contradiction can be peddling "The Truth"...Have a good day, Lucaspa.
Try paradox.Hmmm.... looks like AVET doesn't want to explain how a walking contradiction can be peddling "The Truth"...
Creationism was never shown wrong. For example Plate Tectonics is Creationism. That has actually been shown to be right. Even if they quibble over the meaning of the word "catastrophic". Still no one argues that Catastrophic events are a part of Plate Tectonics. Even Lyell was a Creationist. This is where Darwin got his idea of gradualism. So much of what we call science today started out as Creationism.Remember, AV, it was Christians who were scientists, and most often ministers, who showed that creationism was wrong.
Can't convince me of that. I had to replace a part of a roof once because of carpenter ants. Perhaps they nest more then termites but the damage is the same.I thought you took the Bible LITERALLY. Termites are not ants.

What is the Hebrew word that your wanting to translate? What is your evidence that this is not a translation error? And bats are birds. They both fly.

Well bully for them.My wife and I picked up a book on Biomimicry at the creation museum just recently.
It is a fascinating read, and a testament to God in nature.
Here's just one example of how it works from answers.com:

The even temperature is accomplished by continuously opening and closing a series of vents throughout the day. The Eastgate Center uses 10% of the energy of a traditional building to keep cool.
We need to thank God for our scientists who discover these things in nature; making our lives better.
