Billy Graham ministry

Mr. Graham has become very wealthy and one of the most respected men in the world, a pastor to presidents and millions of others. How did he make his wealth? I've never attended one of this crusades (I've watched a few on TV) but know he doesn't charge admission. He sells books, CDs and other materials, so is that how he's made all of his wealth?

I'm sure that any of us would obtain the same information you would by researching.

It concerns me that your focus in many of your posts is on money, even though you feel God is calling you this way.

Yes, most of the wealthiest preachers have made their money through book and media sales, not by preaching. When donations are taken at a crusade, the money is applied toward a very large staff, advertising, brochures, and immense fees to rent the stadium. It is possible to lose money when preaching to thousands.

Don't dive into the ministry hoping you'll get rich quick -- or you will have God to answer to.

I suspect God rewarded him for what he did.

If you want that kind of success then go and do likewise. Let God work through you to bring thousands to Christ. If you want a modern success story look to Joel Osteen. I think he is one of the more financially successful preachers of today, even though lots of other preachers don't seem to like him much.

Pastor Billy Graham makes a living spreading the word of God to the world so that all should hear and have a chance to repent so that none shall perish. He is a success because he is a man of God. There is nothing wrong with prospering in the light of God's favor. The more we have the more we can do for those who have less. God answers prayer.

Thanks Dusky! Haven't seen the longer trailer before. I'm from Canada so I'll stick with the Canadian site and will be watching online on Thursday! I think it works in America too.
