Ya know, you can dig up just about anything you want in the net. I don't follow that kind of garbage. I am 'following' Todd Bently and his new wife on facebook. it started out just as curiosity to see what was going on. But, there is good stuff there, and I choose to believe the good as the Word says ( I KNOW...fruit yada yada), but I truly trust that they have changed. the proof is in the pudding. anyway...I know, i will get called all sorts of stuff here,...that is ok., I still choose to forgive. Blessings.

I didn't want to start another discussion about Bill here,
I just wanted to invite more voices to the original thread.
But are Randy and Heidi/Rolland also involved with this NAR movement
(Is that a movement? I've only heard of it here in CF)

Heidi Baker is one of my heros.NAR is not a movement persay. it was a title someone gave to a group. I don't totally agree with every thing they represented. I think it has all but died out anyway. Heidi et all preach and love Jesus...good enough for me.

There are so many meanings to words, variations in doctrines, that to take a 'person' and make a 'challenge' against him results in a lot of negativity ill defined, confusing, and containing so much inconsistency of connotations, that it is not well advised.

Why not have threads about 'errant doctrines' and challenge and define them, and if this preacher or that one is guilty of them, they will then be recognized without us having to name any names herein...

a man may have sinned via preaching errant doctrine last week, repented this week, and attacked here next week... it was the doctrine that is wrong, the errant preacher would now be in the good graces of the Lord, and we would be then 'accusers of the brethren'.

I do not like threads attacking preachers by name... for that reason... let's attack the false doctrines, for they are always false, cannot repent and be made right..... but people can! We can mention that at some point a certain person preached or taught that doctrine, but we are not able to know that person's current relationship with the Lord, to make judgments on him/her at this moment...

my opinion is to avoid these 'personal' attacks, even if we feel they may be well based and truthful, and attack the false doctrines that some people may have...

notice herein that the attacks tend to get onto the 'personal' area, and the 'false doctrines' seem to get bypassed, ill defined, misunderstood... and the end result is the person is tagged, and not many even understand the 'why', or the errant doctrine of which they are accused... Is there any value to that?

amen Murjahel. SOO good. yep, we we stand pointing a finger at a brother or sister in Christ, we are in agreement with the accuser of the brethren. A place I would rather not be.

I have looked at a few of these sites.
The so called "fruit inspectors"
I found that they overlook the same things
that they bash others for. That really opened
my eyes to see that a lot of it was nothing more
than the flesh and the "big brother" syndrome.

Wouldn't it be a lot more fruitful to listen to the
actual persons words and then judge from that?
These bash sites take their words out of context.
I know, it's sad, but it's truth.

Slander sites? They are their own sites, where Rick Joyner explains why he was a Knight of Malta and where Bill Johnson recommends Todd. The other site is not from themselves, but I found a video where Todd said it himself, how he met the Branham angel and went out of his body, can't find it anymore. My brother was watching him all the time and I wanted to look things up for him.
They can call anyone a false teacher, but when they said things themselves, hmmm. Michael Brown wrote something on deception now and Rick Joyner was interested, so yes, maybe he changes, who knows? Just get to know where things come from and don't be deceived.
There were more leaders in the past that were freemasons and repented from it.

He has been extremely transparent and repentant over his issues.

He was also able to verify that Todd has taken care of Shonnah and the kids financially in an honorable way and continues to do so.

Rick has told me many times how encouraged he has been with Todd's personal transformation as well as some positive changes in ministry.

In conclusion, I recommend Todd to you, believing that you will be blessed and encouraged by his ministry.

Are you saying that through these other people that you were soaking in His love and you received an anointing from these people?

I usually go straight to the Holy Spirit to soak in His love and truth. Isn''t that why Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to us? He, the HS is called a comforter, yes He does comfort. Yes He does.

He also anoints or resides in us. The Holy Spirit is my anointing. and my comfort.

Imperfect people, not so much.

Bless you and others for having taken a stand -- knowing well that many will distance themselves from Todd even after being restored. Some will even discredit those that have helped restore Todd through prayer and fellowship.
