Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.

I don’t think it’s so much they can’t grow together but refuse to grow together.

Marriages have their ups and downs. The true test is whether you can handle the downs.

Hard to truly know who is at fault for failed marriages now knowing the couple personally. People change over time as their body ages and they mature and circumstances change. Having billions probably doesn't help things as the money likely gets in the way of a more normal life complicating things.

Just like Eckhart Tolle wrote, people with lots of money doesn't mean they have wisdom.

They're clever at making money, but that's about where it all ends.

In other words, we shouldn't listen to the words of a wealthy person just because they're wealthy.

A rich man getting into Heaven is like passing a camel through the eye of a needle. Remember those words Jesus gave us ?

Not to make light of anyone's divorce, but I guess anyone who's used Windows for any amount of time shouldn't be that surprised by this. :sorry:

    Reminds me of a joke:
Four engineers were driving across the desert when their car broke down.
The mechanical engineer looked under the hood and couldn't find anything wrong mechanically.
The chemical engineer looked at the fuel system and couldn't find anything wrong there.
The electrical engineer analyzed the car's wiring system and couldn't find anything wrong either.

Meanwhile, the Microsoft engineer was sitting silently in the back seat. The others got back in, and said "We've gone over everything and can't find anything wrong - and you've said nothing. Do you have any ideas?"

He sat there for a few minutes then said,

"Well, what if we all got out of the car and then got back in?"

I suppose there's always a chance the two of them could... get back into the relationship too.

It seems as if they are handling the situation with maturity and mutual respect.

They are only leaving their children a few million dollars each and leaving the rest to their foundation, which they will continue to lead together.

I don't expect financial squabbles, and I am sorry they are divorcing.

It wasn't exactly a normal situation to begin with.

Bill and Melinda Gates' three kids were 'very angry' with Microsoft founder over divorce | Daily Mail Online
For years, he has spent one year a weekend away with his ex-girlfriend, venture capitalist Ann Winblad, in a romantic oceanfront North Carolina home. Melinda knew about the trips and gave them her blessing.

On Wednesday, a Chinese interpreter who worked for their charitable foundation denied internet rumors that she might be the reason for the split.

Apparently it's true - money (even tens of billions of it) is NOT a guarantee of happiness.
