No, since he is moving soon, I don't think he wants to start up anything with someone for a while.USincognito said:O.k. So he's not chatting. Do you think he has a hot date?

Occasionally. I did the other night, and even got some rep for my comments. It was in the thread about voting for an atheist president. For the most part, I find people get a little bent out of shape and take things personally. The internet is the best place to look for examples as to how you shouldn't discuss a topics with those from a differing point of view. Plus, I've been here long enough that I know what the arguments will be for those on whichever side, that I've simply gotten bored. Most of the people are just a font online, and that's how I see them (there are, of cours, some exceptions). That being said, I don't care what they think about whatever topic. I feel no need to explain my point of view only for someone to attempt to belittle it. I've lost the motivation. But if someone links me to an interesting thread, I'll participate. Especially if I am bored.Pats said:Do you ever post in CF threads that are not primarily for fellowship?
Painted into a corner and getting out huh? Well I suppose it could depend on which color I have painted myself and if I match the entire room or simply that one corner. But I always keep a handy scraper in my pocket so I can chip away at the paint and peel myself off the corner. And if that fails, turpentine shoudl be around here somewhere.... As for being aware but not understanding the need- I haven't the slightest clue as to what you are talking about. What is IT?Alternate Carpark said:Ah, well aware of that BigToe, just don't understand the need for it.
You've just painted yourself into a corner, how do you get out of it?
Oh I don't know. I like colors better! I like ones sans serif. Easier to read.Cat59 said:What font is your favourite online?
Oh it was my fave in high school, very cute and girly, without being overly frilly.Lel said:What do you think of Comic Sans MS?
So long as they are tastefully done and not gaudy.Cat59 said:Would you wear frills?
You can't ask me the same question again. I already answered it. Silly man.Alternate Carpark said:doh ! lol
okay redefined for your pleasure.
You have painted yourself into a corner of a room, how do you get out of the room?
It depends. Are they just a tad gaudy and could I simply try them on for said gifter? If so, then I would try them on. If not, I don't think I would. While I would thank them for the gift, I am not really a fan of lying and pretending I like something when I do not. I would tell them it was kind of them and that I really appreciate that they took time to make something for me as a homemade gift always puts an extra special spin on things. I would then hold on to it for a few months, in case I was invited to any tacky parties that would require its use in a costume. If not, I would kindly put it in the donation pile. While I don't care for it, it doesn't meant hat someone else might not find it absolutely wonderful. Man, that was a wordy way to say no.Cat59 said:If someone made some gaudy frills for you and asked you to wear them, what would you do?
