I'd love to go walking around the continent of Australia with you Tav. How long do you think it would take us? Will we be skin and bones when we get back?

Is Australia a continent or a big island?

Me too Tav. I would love to have a walking partner. Every time I try to get together with someone they want to do it at five in the morning in town or something. That just doesn't work for me.
At the end of the day I could go by the sports center where there is an inside walking track but I am always anxious to get home if I don't have to run errands.
However I know that I just need to forget the excuses and make a way.
Otherwise it won't happen.

Perhaps she's sleeping. I forget about the time difference.

Tav must've thought that we were really coming over to walk around Australia.

It's probably 5 am over there and she's no doubt up and at it, dodging kangaroos and duck billed platypus/platypi (?), playing on her diggerydoo and singing "Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport".

It's a bird. It's from Australia. I didn't know what it was either until Tav posted a pic of one in the Yardly Delights thread.

I'm getting pretty sleepy, Migs.
Especially when I think of having to be up and out at 5 am. I'm just not sure I can do it. But you and Tav have fun ok?

You guys are such a bunch of wags! ROFL! OK.. lets' all go walking around Oz.. let's see, how long do ya reckon it'd take Bev? I reckon a couple of years, we'd have to camp along the way... bring along the billy and have some damper round the camp fire... we could cook those witchety grubs Bev... take the ol' boomerang and catch us some kangaroo for dinner, or find a snake... yummm!
Bev.. do you know much about bush tucka? We'd better find some aboriginals to teach us before we go, I know!.. we could get lessons from the bush tucker man!

I reckon we would be skin and bone by the time we got home... what a way to go! And we'd have such fun along the way. Can you guys take a couple of years off work?

They're a very inquisitive bird and will come up and peck at you.

They definitely don't make good pets..

I saw on the news that prairie dogs make good pets. I would love one. I'd put a collar on it and walk it around the block. I was going to do that with the emu. I was thinking you could ship me an emu and I'd ship you a prairie dog.
