in my opinion.
I learned a lot from Aristotle's metaphysics. We in this millenium, seem to establish theories inductively; we look at evidence and try to explain it. I learned it is better to go the opposite way, deductively; let our minds determine all potential theories and then remove the ones that do not fit the facts. In the long run science is not us explaining reality; it's using reality to see what our minds can be happy with.
