The polls support HARRIS but does she really stand a chance against Trump?
Doubtful. During the 2020 Democratic primary, she didn't even stand a chance against Biden, or any of the other contenders.
Since then, she has no record to show for the past 3.5 years as VP (and even worse as "Border Czar").

Biden beat him and most of the hang up with Biden has been about his age. Harris eliminates that issue. That’s not to say she doesn’t have her own weaknesses as a candidate but now Trump is the only old man in this race with an unpopular record weighing him down.

They did this slow and gradual. They did not want to come out with it all at once. It took them a week to prepare people.

It wasn't happenstance. It was always the plan. When the nominee is announced we'll understand.

The story is he has parkinson. They say any medical student can diagnose it based on how he walks and how he talks. Regan had alzheimer's and people just laughed about that.

Wouldn't you have preferred for the voters in the Democratic Party primaries (before that debate in late June) to be the ones who choose whom would be the Democratic Party nominee for POTUS?

he got some bad news regarding his health.
They say a doctor that specializes in Parkinson's has been to the white house once a month for the last 8 months. He only seems to have confided in those close to him like Clinton, Obama and Pelini. Bush feels he should continue to support his party.

They should be asking questions instead of going along in silence.

We will have to see ??? I think the polls are skewed to a large degree (making it look like she's polling better than in she is in actuality)

100% that would have been preferable, with Biden off the menu as per his one term pledge.

But here we are.

Could be. Everyone was convinced Hillary was going to win and she lost. Everyone was convinced that Trump would win against Biden and he lost.
