Looks as though ISIS-K started believing republican talking points. For a couple of them it was their last mistake:

WASHINGTON – President Joe Biden warned those behind a deadly terrorist attack that killed and wounded American service members and Afghan civilians in Kabul on Thursday that the U.S. would “hunt you down and make you pay.”

A day later, he followed through on that threat.

A military drone strike on Friday killed two "high-profile" members of ISIS-K and wounded a third, the first American attack on the terrorist group following a bomb attack at Hamid Karzai International Airport, the Pentagon said Saturday.

The Pentagon's initial announcement of the strike said one ISIS-K member had been killed. Military officials updated the death toll on Saturday.

You'd think if they were so high-profile, Biden would want their names made public???

So everything's going smoothly in Afghanistan. A completely success, just as Biden promised.

That's the story line. "move along... move along... nothing to see here"

For whatever reason, intelligence people didn't want to reveal it

You think our troops are lying about it?

He promised that? Show us. It sounds like something Trump would dream up. But I might be wrong. What do you have? That's not a rhetorical question. Let's see a checkable quote saying he promised everything would go smoothly and be a complete success.

What he really promised was to track down ISIS-K and make them pay. Took him a day to get started. And it was a pretty good start. Of course, ISIS-K and their supporters are trying to minimize the effects of the operation.

That's what they do.

Except a couple of ISIS-K commanders taken out by US forces in response to their terrorist attack on the airport. There is that.

Biden had vowed in a Thursday speech that the U.S. would respond to the attacks "with force."

"To those who carried out this attack, as well as anyone who wishes America harm, know this: We will not forgive. We will not forget. We will hunt you down and make you pay," Biden said of the Kabul airport attack hours earlier that killed 13 U.S. service members and more than 100 Afghan civilians.

He repeated that vow on Saturday.

“This strike was not the last," Biden said. "We will continue to hunt down any person involved in that heinous attack and make them pay. Whenever anyone seeks to harm the United States or attack our troops, we will respond."
2 high profile ISIS targets killed in U.S. drone strike in Afghanistan, Pentagon says

As I said, ISIS-K seems to have started believing republican talking points. Big mistake, that.

Hi...no offense but you seem to be out of the loop here. I have no clue how you can ask "he promised that?" Fox news keeps playing those clips..someone looks like Joe Biden is talking in those clips. What President Trump dreamed up.. really? As if everything that has happen so far in Afghan was just Bidens fault. Granted thats how Trump was treated. Biden tossed out what Trump wanted..that ended in May. Biden made his own deal. Ever watch hear those people in Afghan and those just out side the border talk about whats really going on? Glen B was almost in tears telling how the ONLY ones stopping them at ever turn was the State department. Said they got out 5100 Christians and others that are being killed burned .. men women children. Guess how let them use their jets.. guess. Copeland Min.

What I know is Trump had no hand in that what so ever. Joe Biden and those around him did. Those what 13 soldiers.. thats on Joe Biden. For he said buck stops here. They really need to fire get ride of those that give Biden all the so called info and what will happen when we leave. Its far more than 13... 13 USA yet.. women, men, Children. So many right now being hunted down. ISISK.. we know they come from the same group right? Its not just ISISK doing all the killing..again this is coming from those IN Afghan.. but the left media will always tell us the true news.. like FOX huh.

Sorry.. yet not. Hurts so much to see hear people running for their lifes and Biden saying he did the best that could be done.

No, I don't think they would. But, I didn't see troops mentioned.

They were the ones who found those ISIS-K leaders and who then directed the drone strike that killed them. Biden merely gave the order to find them and make them pay for their atrocities. Our military people actually made it happen, as Biden ordered.

If so, it should be easy for you to show us. The assertion was that:

Can you show us?
As if everything that has happen so far in Afghan was just Bidens fault. Granted thats how Trump was treated. Biden tossed out what Trump wanted..that ended in May. Biden made his own deal.

Well, Biden did impose a later date for finishing the evacuations, but that seems to have been a smart move. We're almost to the end of the month, and there were, according to our military people, about 350 Americans who want to leave, who have not left as of this morning. Not a huge number, but they do count. Biden was smart to set a later date.

Glen B was almost in tears telling how the ONLY ones stopping them at ever turn was the State department.

It was the case, and that's complicated things for Biden. You see, Trump's guy (not Trump himself, and it's possible Miller was lying to Trump about it)was trying to keep Afghans who helped us, from leaving Afghanistan. But most of the roadblocks he threw up have been removed.

Those what 13 soldiers.. thats on Joe Biden.

It was fortunate that our intelligence people got word of an immediate threat from ISIS-K. So Biden warned our people a day earlier about it, telling civilians to stay away for that time. However, he did not withdraw our troops from the perimeter of the airport, nor should he have. The commanders on the ground, not Biden, made the decisions how to deploy to best defend the airport, and thanks to those alerts, the loss was much less than ISIS intended.

So many right now being hunted down. ISISK.. we know they come from the same group right? Its not just ISISK doing all the killing..

ISIS-K or their supporters. The Taliban kills them when they can, and there is much hatred between the two. A good number of Taliban fighters died in the same attack that killed 13 of our troops. Our commanders on the ground and the Taliban commanders have been sharing limited intelligence abut ISIS-K, and there is some indication that the Taliban let our commanders know what they knew about the location of ISIS-K leaders. For obvious reasons. We could strike at them immediately, while the Taliban could not.

Sorry.. yet not. Hurts so much to see hear people running for their lifes and Biden saying he did the best that could be done.

Warning our people to stay away from that area, and putting our troops on alert for a terrorist operation, certainly was the best thing to do. And it did save lives.

Whoopee. Biden gave us one of the greatest military and human disasters in our history, one that was avoidable, and he did it on his own. But in retrospect, we're supposed to think it's just terrific that he authorized the hunting down of one person in response...or maybe two!

Kinda. I'm guessing that ISIS was figuring he'd do something maybe a month or two down the line. Surprise!

Biden gave us one of the greatest military and human disasters in our history

Ranks right up there with Pearl Harbor, Fredericksburg, Savo Island and Kasserine Pass, um? Do you have any idea how your claim sounds to people who understand the issue? Think.

It could have been really bad if Biden hadn't warned American civilians to stay away, and if his commanders on the ground hadn't taken precautions to deal with the expected attack. Fortunately Biden had enough warning to prepare for it and that saved countless lives.

But in retrospect, we're supposed to think it's just terrific that he authorized the hunting down of one person in response...

Two dead, one maimed. A good start; hitting them back quickly is more damaging to their morale. And Biden is not done yet...

Biden warns drone strike against ISIS 'was not the last'
Biden warns drone strike against ISIS 'was not the last', threat in Kabul still looms

It's not going to be a good year for ISIS-K.

By the way, you were going to provide some checkable evidence for this claim:

When do you think you'll be able to support that one?

Paywall, sorry. Can you tell us?

And BTW, you were going to provide some checkable evidence for this claim:

Have you found a link for him making that promise, yet?
