Of course I'm a mortal man who is fallible, so was Moses and the prophets and the apostles and all disciples of Christ whom God told to proclaim His will and commandments.

Was everyone who claimed to be a prophet correctly interpreting the will of God in your opinion? To be clear the bottom line I'm trying to point out here is why I find the idea of imposing your religious ideals on others as problematic. I think that you should be free to believe and espouse your views on what God wants. I think the line should be drawn on enforcing that on others.

I wonder if the same would be said about those who need surgery because of the issues surrounding National Smile Day (celebrated May 31st). You know, surgeries like dental care and cleft palate repair. Maybe those also mock god by having people pretend to be something they aren't, or perhaps instead there's something specific being sold to rile up people only about the day mentioned in the OP. Would be interesting to figure out why there's not the same level of manufactured outrage about both.
