You think that 10% tarrifs across the board 'will be an improvement'. You think that sending millions of people out of the county 'will be an improvement'. You think that coming out of the Paris Accord 'will be an improvement'. You think that abandoning NATO 'will be an improvement'. You think that cutting aid to Ukraine 'will be an improvement'. You think that gutting the renewable energy industry 'will be an improvement'. You think that tax cuts for the already wealthy 'will be an improvement'.

Are you crazy?

This was in response to you saying that everything he does will be an improvement. I've helpfully listed some things that you might want to discuss. Or might want to avoid discussing.

Maybe we need a thread on Trumps policies. You know, what he intends to do, how he intends doing it and what might be the repurcussions. Pros and cons as it were.

I said if he did anything on the border issue it would be an improvement. I never said everything Trump does will be an improvement.

OK, let's dance. He told us nothing in the debate when, gee, you'd think he might have had the opportunity. So let's have some details. Immigration perhaps. Where's he going to send millions of immigrants next year? How is he going to do it? How is he going to get agreement from the leaders of whatever country he sends them? Where's he going to keep them before shipping them out?

Let's have some details please.
If he does anything he’ll be leaps and bounds ahead of what has been done the last three years. The bar is really low on this one

Take it to the new thread. You can give details on exporting a few million immigrants there. You know, the how, the where, the when, the cost etc.

Again your solution is to do nothing. It’s too big of a problem so why even try to do something about it.

You don’t seem to understand that taking any action will be an improvement.
Or you do understand but you won’t acknowledge it because your hatred for Trump makes you unable to have any meaningful discussion concerning him
If not wanting a convicted felon who is also adjudicated of sexual assault, refused to leave office and directed a coup on the United States while taking classified documents as if they were his is called hatred....well then I too have it in spades.

The only question is why do you love him so much as to overlook his criminality? That is the real question. The rightists who support him condone Trump's criminal behavior.

Because the alternative is a poor man with seriously impaired mental capacity

As is often explained, they consider the charges to be bogus. They consider it unlikely that any of it would have been leveled against him if he hadn't decided to run for president again. And they're determined to show that such tactics as they see it are not going to work. He gets convicted and they say "up yours" by pouring in extra donations. They see supporting Trump no matter what is thrown at him, as their way of fighting against a corrupt system. At this point they'll never give up on him because of that.

They don't see him as a god, they see him as an underdog.

The reason we're doing nothing now is because that's what Trump ordered.
Trump is. not an elected official and has had nothing to do with border policy the last 3 years. If you’re talking about that bill that allowed almost 5,000 people a day to cross the border before anything could be done, yes he opposed it. It may as well have been called The Invasion Authorization Act

And it's highly unlikely that millions are going to be deported overnight, no matter what campaign pledges have been made. It will start out with those who have criminal records and are engaged in criminal activities. And that alone will keep everyone involved in that quite busy for quite some time. Such deportation was always the norm in the past.

Your mischaracterization aside, it would have been an improvement to the present situation and Trump ordered his minions in Congress to stop it.

Biden made changes to asylum policy and cut arrests by 40%. A comprehensive immigration overhaul was not necessary to make a difference

At least you are being honest, that it's the asylum seekers that bug you, not the illegal aliens.
