Biblical Meaning of a Yellow School Bus in a Dream?

The other nite I had a weird dream. first of all, I'm puzzled as to why I would be dreaming of a yellow school bus, cuz I have no connection to no school bus. what would that symbol have to do with me?

Ok here's the dream, I was standing somewhere, and saw this school bus, in the middle of the road, when all of a sudden, it went out of gear or something and started doing crazy things. I don't think anyone was on their. but I felt alittle worried, as if I was going to be responsible for what might happen to the bus. anyway the bus started going back and foward, turning in diferent directions. when suddenly it went over to the side and turned over. I was like oh no!

then I went to another scene in the dreamed and ran into this this person. don't quiet know what he said, but I got the hunch, he was telling me to own up to my responsibility.

now when I looked this up in this dream dicisonary I have. a bus means, teaching or youth ministrie. learning, working together. but I didn't feel this way in the dream. now I do teach awana, and help out as and assitiance coach for upward, and help kids their also. the only thing I can think of off the bat is. I do pray for them, that God would protect them. and not let the enemey steal the truth of what their being taught. could this be the enemey threating and atack on these kids. since I did pray that prayer? why else am I dreaming of a school bus?

Maybe God is showing you that without a driver the bus will be out of control and the end result is a wreck--destruction--violence. The bus has to have a driver not only a driver but a driver capable of doing the Job. Maybe God is showing you just how very important your work is with the youth you help you are the good bus driver the driver that has the ability to take the youth where the need to go safely. It seems God is showing just how important your ministry is with the young people God has placed in your care. He would be showing you this to encorage you and strengthen you by understanding the importance of driving--guiding the youth. I forgot to mention Rod, I don't drive, and if I could, I wouldn't want to take that kind of responsibility in my hands. see I'm afraid to drive. this could probally be a self-consious dream. confirming this fear to me. I'm always having dreams with these odd symbols and strang ppl I don't have any connection with, or in no way apply to my daily life. I would understand if it was a mop or broom, something I can relate to.

Think symbolizm !! If you are helping young kids you are symbolicly driving them in a school bus. A school bus driver drives --guides the children to school--learn understanding. when yoiu help the children you are guiding them--taking them--driving them to understanding--learning.
Dreams are at times VERY symbolic and that symbolizm my not have a thing in the world with what we do but it will be something we can relate to or have an understanding of.

Ok, this is what I see. You are not on the bus nor are you driving the bus. You are an observer only. The bus represents just what you said and I like what Rod said, too, about how driving means leading or teaching or however he worded that (good job, Rod). Yellow (I believe yous said it was yellow) is important here, and this is what I have found on the symbolic meaning of yellow:

God's glory and the brightness of His presence. - Ezekiel 1:4; 1:27-28; 8:2 (KJV)
Christ as the glory of God - Ezekiel 1:28, II Corinthians 4:6, Revelation 21:23
fire - God's presence (Hebrews 12:29, Exodus 3:2), God's judgment (Genesis 19:24, II Kings 1:10-14, Isaiah 66:15, II Thessalonians 1:7-8)

So, if the bus was yellow, it is a Christian ministry or teaching or church of some sort that is supposed to be teaching the truth of God's word. But, instead, the teaching is "in the middle of the road," and that reminds me of the passage in Revelation about the Laodecian church being neither hot nor cold. Out of gear, means it is out of whack - not going the way it is supposed to go. Back and forward, turning in different directions reminds me of the passage in Eph 4 about being tossed back and forth by every wind of teaching... over the side and turned over could represent the judgment of God on this church/ministry or it could just show how far it has gone away from the Lord.

Ok, since you are the observer of this, that means it does not represent your teaching, but it does, however, represent teaching that you are aware of and are a witness to, perhaps, and God may be telling you that you have a responsibility to speak up and say something, because if you are observing people (not saying you are) being led astray by false teaching that goes back and forth, then it would be just the same as you watching a bus full of children going off of a cliff and perhaps God wants you to warn someone. Maybe he just wants you to warn the children not to be led astray by false teaching (in addition to praying for them).

These are just some thoughts here. God will have to confirm this in your heart if this is what he is saying to you.

Looking at your dream & the work you do with kids I can see where the Spirit is telling you what you do is vital. As give your time & pray for these kids you are giving them guidance & instruction.
Perhaps the bus out of control represents the kids you are working with & you're being shown what is happening or could happen in their little lives.

Well...funny thing is. that their were only three teachers their tonite, including myself. and their were several kids to work with. and it was overwhelming at times. cause you had to work with more than one kid at a time. while you were helping one. another would come up and need help, and their were times we needed to get their attention to quieten down, I've also learn with working with kids, is first, we have to understand, that they are kids. and kids act like kids. but at the same time, they need to learn to respect the teachers and elders, and to quieten down, when they are asked. that's something we need to work on. we had a lecture on this tonite.

they are bright kids, and love the Lord. but they still have things to learn. and we don't want to lead them in the wrong way. or let the enemey steal God's truth or the seeds that are being sown. that's why I thought the dream might have meant some kind of attack, since a school bus is connected, to being in control, if one is driving. or taking one to school, as in going to teach or to learned. anyway, I had the impression when I woke up. that I was obliagated or responsible for something, as to what...can't really say for sure.

sad story, hated to hear about that, my heart and prayers go out to the familes. this will make me think about praying about some of these dreams I have concerning these kind of situations. thanks.
