Sorry. You statement seemed so innocent. To my knowledge Creationism is funded almost entirely by Christian fundamentalists. It's sort of like they are paying them to be decieved.

You are right and since decay rates are now known to not be the constant they were claimed to be then that they might be accurate is unproveable so you can't argue that YECs have to accept it. Works both ways.

IF you think this thread should be about backing givemereason without your or him having to give evidence to show that YECers are deceiving themselves and are without any reasons to hold to what they hold to (besides pride and arrogance as you allege) then you are off your rockers and should take the claim off these forums. Thats just nonsense. IN most cases people make more money outside of ministry than they do in it. The most notable exceptions are televangelists and very few YEC organizations are even on Television regularly on a sunday morning. Furthermore the same could be said for anyone. Some scientists get more money from government grants that they would never get if they declared themselves YEC proponents and more atheists make millions of dollars of books that propagate atheism than any YEC makes off their books

You must be aware that Jesus once visited a Pharisee's house, an area that was largely Samaritan and even gave his blessing to a Roman captain. Not to mention he ate at a house full of sinners. And that one of his disciples was, himself, a tax collector (you know him by the name of Mathew). In case you're wondering, Roman tax collectors were notorious for cheating money off of the people they're collecting money from, thus their hatred from the Jews.
To say I can't ally myself with an agnostic is to say Jesus can't make friends with sinners.
Also, not all Christians are YECers, you know. In fact, I'm actually not an YECer.

Yes and yet at no time do we ever see him joining pharisees in attacking his followers nor do we ever see him taking up a sword and attacking the enemies of Rome or even collecting taxes on behalf of tax collectors. I think you need to get back to praying because if you think that that comparison was going to give you a way to justify attacking your other brothers and sisters in Christ who are YECers (and I never said all Christians were YECers) while claiming to be about unity , love and not tearing apart you need a much much deeper revelation.
Talking to agnostics, being friends with them, even inviting them to dinner is not the issue. Its that you are joining in on an attack against believers with them. How you cannot see that is hypocritical is as I said staggering

I actually hate arguing about evolution simply because arguments about it tend to go nowhere. And I hate heated arguments in general unless I have a good reason to argue simply because heated arguments cause people to split apart. Doesn't automatically mean I'm good at resisting the urge to argue, however.

Varies. Seeing as how there are biblical creationists then they would say the way the Bible specifies. seeing as how there are creationists that are not Bible believers it would vary. You are still there. being human is not an excuse so we can excuse our sin. Even now you have been actively campaigning to have Christians in this thread stop defending the YEC viewpoint so that we can get back to the subject of the thread (as if it isn't the subject) in bashing YEC believers.
Of course I don't know but this is having a feel of sock puppet account. I've seen people do this before. Pretend to be Christian and make some outrageously stern hypocritical arguments against other believers.
