It is best to understand that we live in a broken world, because people have decided not to heed God and His rule of love - but follow the prince of this world where all is for self and self is above all.

Satan and his lies have brought suffering into this world, also the suffering of depression has been orchestrated by the prince of darkness. Just look at lies, guilt, shame, fear, despair and hopelessness - all are spiritual forces which proceed from the prince of darkness and keeps deeply suffering people in its agonizing snares.:o

The Good News is that God's Kingdom has overcome Satan and his misery. His Kingdom of love, kindness, meekness, long suffering, endurance, hope, faith and patience stands Victorious over the kingdom of darkness.

Faith in God can help a depressed person in a real and lasting way because the goodness that God builds in the believer's heart will fight against the forces of darkness and subdue them.

In God's Kingdom we find faith in God's love and hope for a glorious future what better defence against the loveless and hopeless feelings Satan fires at us through our depression?

Even suffering itself God places in a different light. With Satan suffering is misery and its only relief is death, with God suffering makes us strong and gives us endurance.

Be of Good courage God has overcome this world. He can use our depression to make us strong and faithful. He can set us free from the wiles of the devil and keep us safe.

Depression is really a collection of bad emotions, sadness, guilt, shame, envy, fear, loneliness, anger, hopelessness, despair, creating misery in the hearts and minds of those who carry them.

Faith in God's love carries also a collection of emotions- good emotions, such as love, hope, long-suffering, endurance, patience creating a stable and strong heart.

Faith in God's love we can ask God to provide. It is a free gift of grace.
Please don't let depression get you down, but let faith in God's love fill you up with good, strong and healthy emotions.

A Way Out Of Depression.

How can we have meaning if we don't love?
everything else is but a clinging cymbal,
a sounding gong!
...of no importance in the scheme of things,
a loving faith takes us Home to Him!
He who is love Himself!
Hide in His love!
..and love His children,
and all Creation too!
and so find a way out,
of this hell hole we've been in.
His love the way out of depression.

From darkness to light

The darkness presses close,
everything seems lost,
nothing seems worth keeping,
my life feels very bad.

Hopelessness has overpowered me,
despair took hold long ago,
My fears flare up my insecurities,
I'm sad about everything.

what have I done wrong?
my woes overwhelm me.
Is there no more hope?
Where can I find safety?

Then suddenly I know
The Dragon got me!
Guilty conscience burning
my lack of loving

Suddenly I remember
how could I have forgotten?
I still have Jesus
My Rock and Redeemer

He'll guide me out!
He'll get me through
I must look at Him,
let go of my misery.

God's word and promises is all I can cling to at the moment. It's been a hard couple of years for me (every since my Junior year in high school, I'm a Sophomore in college now), but these last 3 months have been EXTREMELY hard. The first 2 I was nothing but depressed. Some nights I'd just lay awake or when I slept I woke up earlier and cried myself asleep or until my alarm went off. It's hard.

3 months ago, I lost my cousin (like my brother seeing as I had no siblings) to gun violence. He was an innocent bystander in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's hard to accept that, I was angry at God, I still have questions and my relationship with God could use repair, but it's been hard.

Praying that your trust relationship with God will be restored. Evil men did it, you and God suffered it. God suffers violence against His Children as well as other Creatures all the time, from His children gone wrong, it is a sad state of affairs.

Jesus rescues

When depression reigns
and all seems lost!

Then call upon Jesus
and let Him save you!

Cycling.
My God You feel so far away,
An empty pit,
where You once ruled,
In darkness do I feel!

Entombed by my mood,
nothing can,
satisfy or please me,
Joy is non existent!

The silence is profound,
no energy,
feeling useless and dull,
I wish I do something!

Feeling so sad,
cut off,
godforsaken and alone,

Truth dies not,
His love is always present,
I know The Truth!

another one to be,

One of the real downers were those times that faith in Jesus had fallen by the wayside. For me it always ended in the pit, where I paid heavily for my walk in darkness.

In the end I went to Jesus about it and asked Him why He let me fall so low at times. The Word corrected me and showed that it was myself who made the wrong choices, and myself who paid the price. A good lesson for me not to walk in darkness for then I will surely fall over and get badly hurt.

That you have fallen doesn't matter to Christ, He loves you just as much, and is always eager to give you a good wash, teaching you the lessons you need to learn.

With Him the darkest dust gives birth to new life.

Fallen
feelings rule the heart.
Flesh is demanding and greedy.
Our ego runs hot a lot,
living just for self.
believing lies about self
other and God.
Hiding so much guilt
and blushing shame.
Sins run a muck,
unfaithful kings rule.
Worldly attitude dominates,
bringing darkness,
and complacency.
Prayers have run dry.
The Word accuses,
pointing the finger,
straight at you.

That is the amazing thing with God, all things serve a purpose, even our greatest desolation has purpose in God's design. (He'll show us the diamonds at the end.)

Faith in His love brings hope, and hope will not disappoint us.

Faith in Jesus is - a gift from Good Life - from God - it is very powerful and can subdue even the biggest enemy.

Christ's love is - undying - so that means it will always be upon us, surround us, protect us and heal us.

Hope opens - more doors to good life. Hope brings endurance and long suffering, fearlessness and it brings us patience to sit out the trial.

When we are ill we always feel so purposeless, yet in God's truth that is not so. We may know that we are deeply loved and that bad life will have to repay all the things it has done against our Good life.

One day misery will die and you will rule beside Christ in the hearts of those fighting depression, bringing Good life alive, an awesome task in an awesome Kingdom.

Job 41

“Can you pull in Leviathan with a fishhook
or tie down its tongue with a rope?
Can you put a cord through its nose
or pierce its jaw with a hook?
Will it keep begging you for mercy?
Will it speak to you with gentle words?
Will it make an agreement with you
for you to take it as your slave for life?
Can you make a pet of it like a bird
or put it on a leash for the young women in your house?
Will traders barter for it?
Will they divide it up among the merchants?
Can you fill its hide with harpoons
or its head with fishing spears?

When you let bad thoughts into your heart then bad life results from that! It is the lesson Jesus taught me, teaching me His way to gain good life back again. because letting good thoughts into your heart brings good life.

For those with a depressive illness this is good news, for we can counteract the negativity of our depression with the promises of God's Word and guard our hearts with His Word.

Faith in Christ's love brings hope - hope brings long-suffering, endurance, tolerance and patience alive, while these qualities in turn shape our character. A character shaped by God's Good Life (Spirit) lives at peace, even when the going is tough.

Faith we can ask for, The Word we can read and apply spiritually within, and so we can grow away from it depressive mind. God can truly help us filter our thoughts and feelings past His loving truth and cleanse our hearts and minds with good thoughts and feelings.

Wait on Me

When darkness pounds,
on the doors of your heart.
Keep the door closed,
and wait till they depart.

Let The Word sow,
the truth into your heart.
Loving well being,
have for Good Life regard.

Lets explore some feelings and emotions that have gone wrong but we always find present in the depressed heart. These feelings can be overcome in God's loving truth but are all formidable enemies which are hard to beat. God's Truth can set us free however that is the good news!

guilt; while Jesus died for our sin and doesn't want us to walk around in guilt but in the joy of our salvation.

shame; shame always looks wrongly at wrong, it burns our heart and makes us hide. It has to do with our big I and really roasts our self esteem.

fear; God's perfect love casts out fear, in a depressive heart fear always lies about the situation.

regrets; regrets have to do with wrongs in the past, we can be sorry that something went wrong but in a depressed heart regrets keep feeding shame, fear and guilt.

sadness; sadness in a depressed heart doesn't look at what is right but always see the sad thing in everything, neither ought sadness to be a deep big hole in our soul apart perhaps if a loved one has died. Apart of sorrow for sin and mourning a loved one sadness shouldn't be as noisy as it is in a depressed heart.

loneliness; with all of Heaven involved in our life struggles, truly we are never really alone.

Hopelessness; this is the biggest lie of all. Faith in Christ's love brings us hope, so feelings of hopelessness smite us with their lies and keep Christ's help away.

Despair; we could compare this feeling as a bottomless pit with ever deepening misery

misery; Christ brings us love, faith, hope, long-suffering, endurance, patience, self-control - while wrong brings misery.

lies; and so a depressed heart is bombarded by horrible lies, which seem real and can make us suffer profoundly

Wrong Brings No Good.

When wrong clings to us,
it darkens our counsel,
making us feel secretive,
hiding itself behind lies.

It acts like a virus,
infecting the whole,
it is very destructive,
breaking us to bits.

Brings fiery emotions,
hot and demanding,
always sabotaging,
our every good intent.

Wrong brings darkness,
drought and famine,
war and death,
the killing fields.

And so much crying,
sadness to mourn,
souls forlorn,
from goodness bereft.

A big culprit that brings us suffering is our ego, or our big I. It becomes all so personal when we have an active ego personalising our depression and make it feel like you are the only one that is suffering. Unfaithfulness, self-pity, pride, arrogance, weakness and rage are but some of the bad realities our ego wake up inside of us.

The best thing to do is dethrone your ego and put that part of yourself at the end of the line, for that is its rightful position - and crown love for God as King of the heart instead.

Love for God overcomes depression!

preach:Love for God, is not only loving God it also loves all people,(including ourselves) and all Creation.)

Love for God is the most important spiritual reality that we can have in our spiritual being. On the throne with those 'sons of David.'

The anointed of The Lord am i when i love The Lord!

Eternal life is assured when we find ourselves loving our brother or our sister, when loving forgiving mercy reigns our hearts then The Lord delights in us and He calls us His Children and He will come and reside in our hearts. John 14

Love for God is not doing religion, religion uses God and His Word to establish itself inside of us, where customs, rules, values and morals control our spiritual life, not love for God at all.

Love for this world is not love for God either, love for the world is anti-Christ spirituality. God would like us to abstain from worldly spirit. Worldly thinking can get us into all kind of spiritual trouble.

Only love for God is valid - we love Him because He is just, wise, loving, caring, giving, creative, good, and powerful are His mercies when we have done something wrong. Psalm 33

We love Him because He has saved us through Jesus Christ, who is revealed to us like The Rider on 't White Horse, destroying the wicked who had found lodging within us and setting us free from their power. Rev 19

Love for God always ends up ruling in God's Kingdom of Peace and be at Rest within. Rev 20

I used to think that to be a Christian you stop sinning, or at least you stop all the big sin in your life. I didn't do that when I became a Christian, I tried to do it myself so I didn't succeed.

I failed miserably, and not dropping my sins off at Christ's feet cost me a lot, it was a huge proportion and degree of my depression, then and later.

So no I hadn't succeeded in subduing my sins. All I believed with an undoubted faith was that Jesus was there. For once before I had seen Him and heard His Voice. He stopped me from giving my heart to the devil, when I submitted to the evil voices in my head.

All He said was - "leave Satan this one is mine" - it was enough to make me a Christian forever. (Just hearing Him speak is a Divine experience,) Though at first I raged at Him then as well - I was angry with Him for not allowing me to become evil for I hated how as a Christian you had to be do-gooder.

What I'm trying to say I suppose is that it doesn't matter how much you have sinned, unless you have sinned against the Holy Ghost, (but then you will not be seeking Christ or His Salvation any more either,) Jesus can come and save you from your sins.

Don't let your sin thwart you a view of The Kingdom that is my advise, but don't do it yourself - let The Word in Spirit do it for you - His Spirit knows far better what is yours and what is in essence evil. (Hebrews 4:12-13)

The Spirit of God kills the evil and saves the sinner, something we ourselves cannot do.

It is not good to fight sin outside of the Holy Spirit, it results in spiritual genocide - something the dragon is proud off and pleased with (rev 12)- but not our loving God.

So serve God wholeheartedly - in good and in bad (times) - face Jesus and follow Him. I love the way He deals with us sinners - He basically loves sin to death and makes something good come out of bad.

Song of Solomon 1:4 Take me away with you—let us hurry!
Let the king bring me into his chambers.

Love Making.

My love removes what has no desire or need,
To bare to the passions of embracing His Love,
Pure ecstasy as His Love releases The Seed,
Love making conceives Heavenly bliss from above.

My love carrying what His Good Loving has Sown,
Awaiting the time of delivery to Come,
Our Heavenly Dad to give a child of His own,
Hear the Angels adore Him who gave us The Son.

I firmly believe, because I know, that we need the Living Word among us. He needs to lead our hearts to good pastures to be true.

Jesus is Spiritual and dwells in our heart, but how to make contact with Him in a meaningful way with Satan, that despised spirit of darkness, who at first contact pretends to be light, is not as easy as it may seem, we need The Words of God, living in our heart, The words of God in the Spirit of love for God and neighbour, as our guide.

You knowing that your Heavenly Father loves you unconditionally, in both good and in bad He died for you on the cross. He wants to stop the divisions of the heart - where good is victorious over bad, and Christ rules from Zion over your 'world of inner being.'

Often God doesn't take life's burdens, like illness away, but He transforms us from within, so stay in His loving truth and grow stronger than darkness can throw at us.

Psalm 91

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.
Surely he will save you
from the fowlers snare
and from the deadly pestilence.

Call upon Jesus as humanities saviour and be baptised (if you haven't been yet) and you can be assured of your salvation as well.

Know your sin and misery,

His blood cleansing.

God takes away your guilt,
melts your shame away,
clears the conscience,
creating a crystal sea.

The pure shall see God,
see Him on His throne,
all Heaven adores Him,
The Lamb who was slain.

The heart is ecstatic,
Praising Jesus Christ,
Seated on the mercy seat,
Leadership to The King!

All that is numbered,
is done away with,
evil rule dies,
The Accuser goes in the pit.

The Son of God
opens the seals
reveals the Chosen
who will be saved?

The Chosen are raised,
all who died in you,
come back to life,
Christ ruling your heart.

Peace and Rest rules,

The problem with depression is that The Wicked prey on us to try to ensnare us through our illness to bad life and rob us of our good life. Faith in Christ's love sets us free from the power of The Wicked and gives us the ability to suffer our illness with dignity.

The Wicked,

The wicked came without invitation.
made an end to good life's celebration.
The wicked devised every deformity.
created all the illnesses that be.

They forced their way as kings.
controlling all heart's things.
Shaping people in their ways.
blackened colours all in greys.

The wicked always speak lies.
Orchestrating truth's demise.
bringing about so much misery.
Hardened hearts committing felony.

They always offend God from within.
They are the cause of so much sin.
They are behind every homicide.
Made many men on rape decide.

Now let God's love shine true.
The Word will give them their due.
Erasing the wicked from our heart.
So we will from sinful ways depart.

Rom 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God is a spiritual Being. He wants to dwell in human hearts and eternalise them by giving humans life in His Spirit. A noble purpose from God's side!

He has provided a way to make this possible through Faith in His Son Jesus Christ. Faith in Jesus Christ brings us love for God and love for humanity. It is when we love God or our neighbour that we make room for God to come into our hearts.

Dwell on the great power of God to suffer!

Through no fault of His Own, He is cut off, killed off, lied about, and plundered daily by the majority of those He Himself has created and designed for good! Yet He loves and provides for them until the day they die.

Such great power is at our disposal. Would our depression be in for a shock? The love of God would have us escape depressions hopelessness, despair and misery. With Him on board our sufferings will bring us character!

Col 3:12-17
Therefore, as Gods chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

It is our focus in life that determines how we are build. If we are God serving, honest, peace loving people then our psyche is build of much tougher materials than if we are individuals who hide behind lies and are selfish, judgemental and self focused. The first always seeks God when they get in to trouble or hardship and find shelter with Him, the latter are overcome by their fears.

I know that to be true in my life. Before I met Jesus in my life I was an individual who was selfish and self focussed, overcome by my own lies and running on fears, my life was hell. After meeting Jesus I died to serving my big I and learned to battle my depression with the Word of God.

Faith in His loving truth brings Victory.

gratifying flesh,

Jesus is the door
faith in Him
brings hope.

till all is well.

Depression is also what devil's lies brings inside
letting a low-self-esteem your good life rob

Evil lies extinguishing all happiness and fun.

His loving truth brings you His good life
While to believe lies brings pain and grief
So hold onto the promises Jesus made to you
and don't let Satan your good life squander.

Take hold of God's precious loving truth.

The good thing with Jesus is that He fixes everything up. Where what was crooked He makes straight and what was straight He makes crooked.

Awesome for us who are under a heavy load. Where life oppresses us with bad life, and good life is no longer experienced any more. For when life has been heavy, then when He comes, He will make it light. Where what was not good is turned to your benefit.

A radically different life is what we can expect with Jesus. Where we are in this world but we are not of this world. Truthful, loving and peace seeking earns us the title children of God. A life of lies our shameful, and hurtful past.

It hurts to believe that what is not true and delivers a nasty shock to the system, spiritual, psychological pain, call it what you will, bad life is always the result where we either hurt others and/or ourselves, with our own attitudes.

Depression is bad life at its worst. Usually a physical illness that depresses our moods which lures us into believing its negativities, which then in turn bring more pain.

For example after many years of depression, I listened to hopelessness a lot. Until I read in the Scriptures that these three things remain; love, faith and hope. I realised I was living a lie hurting for I had no hope at all.

I also realised that faith in God's love brings hope. I asked God for faith in His love so that I might harvest hope. He gave me those and so much more. Sanity!

It took me years to shed all the lies of my depression. It was an epic battle. However with The Scriptures doing the fighting, I soon felt very safe. God's loving truth does that it brings rest and peace.

I've got a depressive illness. Anti-depressants don't work, so I have to do it with anti-psychotics and mood stabilisers, both of them depress me, and yet more and more I can manage things again.

The Living Word is who you want living inside of your heart. Jesus is awesome as Saviour and deliverer of the down trodden.

Twice Blinded

What destroyer, where would he be?
The deadly snake bite I didn't see!
Still part of myself was dragged away,
held captive there by wicked sway,
all the lies sown in my soul,
day by day taking control,
feeding my life lies and misery,
my good times became history.

Bringing thoughts and feelings around,
which are in no way sound,
rather inner kings cruel and strong,
those worldly ways so very wrong,
raising Babylon in all her might,
holding me captive in my fright,
denying grace to rule my ways,
mocking God in His face.

Horse hooves trampling my soul,
grass-hoppers devouring all,
scorpion stings stinging,
famine upon famine bringing,
brimstone burn everything to ash,
massive hailstones me to smash,
the darkness ever growing close,
for the goats got me by the nose.

So working for another's bread,
God's loving truth I forget,
thinking my world would always stink,
driving my good life to the brink,
yet there at the bottom of my might,
I finally began to see the light..,
..Jesus, whom I bring so much grief,
when I have that liar as my chief!

And so The Truth did shine on me!
His Spirit alive in my heart to see!
Oh what blinding light I saw there?
God's goodness displayed everywhere!
His love washing me white as snow!
His loving truth inside my life to flow!
Oh Lamb of God forever to be praised!
For from the dead I have been raised!
