  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was thinking today, what would be a good way for me to study the Bible. One of the ideas I came up with, was that it would be helpful if I could find a Bible workbook of some type, where I would have to answer questions, and write essays and such. Basically, what I am looking for is some sort of plan to follow, so I can be more focused when I study. Does anyone know where I can find any type of challenging workbook that I can buy online?

Usually a Christian "Book" store that actually sells books and not just Gospel gadgets, will have a shelf for discipling, group and individual Bible studies. I have used Navigators more than once and they seemed helpful to me. Only you can decide, taking into account your knowledge of Scripture, Church background. I would also suggest you check Christianbook.com and they will send you a catalogue: they have something for everybody. Have a good search! God bless, Al

At this website, they give you a choice of subjects, the book and the workbook. You can send your answers in the mail or answer the questions on line. Everything is FREE and you even get a "diploma" after each course which has your final grade on it.
