Hope I posted this in a good place. A couple of us are very interested in an online Bible study group but need someone to lead it. Would anyone like to do that for us?

Not that I'm necessarily applying, but while that sounds like potentially a lot of fun, it would also come with some complications: For starters, who would the others in your group be, and of what particular denomination or persuasion would they be?

You'd need to get more specific about what exactly you are after...

There is just me and another person interested. I don't know what denomination he is but that is a good point. As far as the topic, I have no idea. There is just too much to choose from and that is why we want a leader.

OK, still really vague. I'm asking these things because if I (or any other Bible Study leaders type around here) were to lead you, you would be getting some very distinct flavor and beliefs. For instance, I place a extremely high emphasis on subject matter like visions, dreams, the spiritual gifts, Hell, demons, Satan, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, Heaven, the supernatural in general, often with a strong criticism of much of what the church especially is doing at the present time, and what we are now calling "Christianity" these days, particularly in the West.

Let me recommend something to you. I know of someone who regularly posts Bible Studies here at this site by the name of Christ'sFreeServant. Slightly more traditional than me, but very good, and quite non-judgmental of those with differences of opinion.

If you'd like, I will provide you a link to how you can always find her work when she posts it.

I see what you mean about it being too vague. All of your topics sound very interesting but probably not what we are looking for right now. Christ'sFreeServant sounds great and yes I would like that link. Thank you so much

OK, I found a link to one of her pieces. If you'll noticed a few of us posted replies, which she responded to. I can assure you she would be very happy to have people respond to her work and ask questions and such. She appears specifically called to writing Studies, as this is what she does on a regular basis, though she doesn't always get responses.

Whenever you want to see of she has posted anything new you might have missed, just come to this thread you created, click on the link I am providing below, and that will bring you to a thread with her avatar on it. Click on her site name in her avatar box, and you will see a blue option to click for "View Profile." Click that, and you will see a screen with options to "View Activity." That will list her most recent posts, including to those threads she has created herself.

Hope this does you some good, and your interest in Bible Study is an excellent and worthwhile pursuit!
