Not to take anything from you though, I will like to share with you in how I see Christ in this story…
Cain represents the first Adam, who is cursed on the earth, because his works did not please God. His offering was of grains that did not have an order in place.
Abel represents the image of Christ, the second Adam, who was blessed by God because his works, in offering of the first born of his flocks.
Man’s work does not contain the remission of sin for payment of his fallen condition.
Christ; aka the Lamb of God, the first born of God, and His only begotten Son, offered the perfect sacrifice, “Himself” the remission of sin is found in His blood.
