Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

thanks blackribbon, I know that, and I am NOT going to count calories. And we will just have to agree to disagree that a calorie is a calorie, while that sentence may be true, how different types of calories we eat get processed is different.

While a calorie may be a calorie - some things are better for the body than others. 300 calories of grilled chicken has a very different effect on the body than 300 calories of fried chicken. Saturated fat is a killer. So, if there are people who are thinking that so long as they have, say, 1200 calories per day, it can be 1200 calories of anything, they would be very, very wrong.

I think it sounds like a good supplement that will not hurt you and can help. I'm glad he mentions that you still need a sound diet and balanced exercise. Yes, many folks have messed up stress hormones, the ghrelin issue is for real and the whole insulin thing we discussed previously is real. This supplement addresses these thing.

However, I'm a big apple cider vinegar fan. Magnesium is a wonderful supplement, and deep brealthing is great for us. So why not eat right, exercise and add the apple cider vinegar, mag, and breathing. You could throw in the rhodiola, too. It's a wonderful supplement.

I eat a variety of food. So my general view is that that will give me the nutrition I need. But I do take a Vitamin D as we spend so little time outdoors and in the winter have very little skin exposed to the sun. Occasionally, I take a B complex pill.

But if you eat 1200 calories of saturated fat and your body expends 1700 calories of energy...you will lose weight...you just won't be healthy. (and you will probably have a nasty case of diarrhea).
And you will die quite young, after probably several years of unpleasant surgeries and drug treatments.

What a waste.

years ago I did an apple cider vinegar "diet" and I just don't think I could stomach it. Thinking about it makes me want to throw up (sorry).

It's not really an acv diet. It's diluting some and having it after meals. Drinking it straight up would definitely be a challenge.
