Ever read Matthew 7 or Matthew 24?

I had ALL the "lose your salvation" verses memorized. I KNOW THEM from when I couldn't see His blood was sufficient. I preached the same thing you are preaching now! And I was miserable and spent more time preaching his cross wasn't enough than I did preaching A GRACE THAT WAS SUFFICIENT for EVERYTHING.

Remember, they have been bought with a price (the precious blood of the lamb), they belong to God. One of the things that helped me with those tough salvation verses, that appeared to proclaim I could be "unsaved" from the "penalty of sin", was the revelation that God's salvation is past, present, and future tense. We should never mix the ETERNAL PENALTY of sin with the ongoing salvation from sin in our walk. Because if we turn away from his Grace we will no longer be saved from the POWER of sin in our walk, and if we do so.. sin and death will surely follow! But our spirits will still be saved on the day of the Lord. Paul shows this in this verse...

1 Corinthians 5:5
deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

This wonderful salvation is not dead but ALIVE… Risen from the tomb, and not “one dimensional” but past, present, and future tense.

When we first come to Christ we are saved from the PENALTY of sin by Jesus Christ and Him Crucified, and everyday as we reckon His wonderful forgiveness we are saved from the POWER of sin by Jesus Christ and Him Crucified, and when our Lord finally comes to take us home we will be saved from the PRESENCE of sin by Jesus Christ and Him Crucified!! For the power of His Cross extends from YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER!! A message with a hope that is ALIVE!!

When we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, through the greatest love story ever told, we die with Christ, are washed in His blood, and are raised and seated with Christ in the heavenlies.

This is the message that saves, this is a HUMBLE KING on a LONELY HILL, this is an EMPTY TOMB, this is THE POWER OF GOD… THIS IS THE GOSPEL!!!

And that is why I believe Paul told the Church Corinth after SEVERAL SHARP REBUKES, all he wanted from them was JESUS CHRIST AND HIM CRUCIFIED. He knew if they were clinging to the simple message that saved them from their sins the rest of the house would be in order. Salvation from the POWER of sin in our walk does not come from us trying to hold on to our salvation, but through the JOY AND POWER of knowing IT IS FINISHED!! The Spirit will manifest a life that is not of human effort when we walk in GRACE THAT IS SUFFICIENT!!

1 Corinthians 2:2
For I determined not to know ANYTHING among you except JESUS CHRIST AND HIM CRUCIFIED.

2 Corinthians 12:9
And He said to me, “MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that THE POWER OF CHRIST MAY REST UPON ME.

The lifeguard is a paid hireling (usually). Also, he cannot ever save anyone's soul.
Also, he cannot save someone who is swimming in a pool across town from where he is.

Such shenanigans , misrepresenting the Almighty in a thwarted attempt to support a false gospel teaching is disingenuous and a deceitful ploy by the enemy of Christ to pervert the truth and to destroy people's souls - instead of helping anyone to be saved !

Dear Zoidar: The Lord Jesus Christ is not a potential Saviour. He requires no help from any of us. He takes full responsibility for the souls for whom He is the Mercy-Seat. I believe He loses nothing, not remnant bread and fish, and most assuredly not any of us. NONE!

But when people hate him and refuses follow him back to the safe land, he can't help them. He is swimming back to them many times during their lifetime, calling on them, waiting for them. One day it will be too late, the marooned sailors will starve to death on the shipwreck, not God's intention for them, but He allows their choice.

But when people hate him and refuses follow him back to the safe land, he can't help them. He is swimming back to them many times during their lifetime, calling on them, waiting for them. One day it will be too late, the marooned sailors will starve to death on the shipwreck, not God's intention for them, but He allows their choice.

I LOVE the picture, but not your message. The whole matter is settled by Jesus the Christ stating in the Revelation that He has made ALL things new. He mentioned no exceptions to this, such as the "unsaved."

1 Corinthians 5:5 Paul said so that his spirit MAY be saved. He did not say his spirit WILL be saved. In 2 Corinthians 2:5-7 Paul tells the church to go to this man and forgive him and comfort him. The whole point of this was to bring him back to repentance so that he would be saved.

Of course Christ’s sacrifice is sufficient, but what good will it do if you are cut off from Christ by The Father? John 15:2 What good will Christ’s sacrifice be to you if you don’t abide in Christ? John 15:6 What good will Christ’s sacrifice be to you if by your denying Him He denies you before The Father? 1 Timothy 2:12.

Dear Zoidar: I find any statement that limits the scope of the salvation of Jesus Christ beyond provoking. He is NOT a potential Saviour, He saves to the uttermost the sheep in His fold and the wandering one who has trotted off. He loses NOTHING, not sheep, not goats, not broken and bruised vessels of any of Adam1. There is no such animal as "too late", He searches until He finds!

Christ is the sacrifice therefore He is the payment for all sins. Those who reject the Christ reject the payment because Christ is the sacrifice. IN NO WAY is Christ separate from the payment. "IN HIM we have redemption through His blood the forgiveness of sins" It says IN HIM not outside of Christ in any way. There is no "sin free zone" outside of Christ. If a persons is IN CHRIST they are forgiven through His blood, if they are OUTSIDE of Christ because they reject HIM... They will surely DIE IN THEIR SINS.

I believe the best way to explain why those who reject Christ are still under God’s wrath is by explaining the two covenants. The letter (old) and the Spirit (new). Only those who are born of the Spirit are IN CHRIST and freed from the law (letter).

Romans 2:29
but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in THE SPIRIT, not in THE LETTER; whose praise is not from men but from God.

Romans 7:6
But now we have been delivered from the LAW, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of THE SPIRIT and not in the oldness of the LETTER.

2 Corinthians 3:6
who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the LETTER but of the SPIRIT; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

In these verses we clearly see that the two covenants are of the Law and the Spirit. So which one of these covenants is by grace?

Romans 6:14

For this is MY BLOOD of the NEW COVENANT, which is shed for many for the REMISSION OF SINS.

Now let's take a look at why those who reject Christ are under god’s wrath and not under grace….

John 3:36

A person is either under the law (letter) or under grace. There is no in-between. When a person believes in the Lord Jesus Christ they die to the law through the body of Christ and are married to another. They must first die to the old to be born of the Spirit. But we have a blessed hope in all this hopelessness. We have the Lamb of God who is the end of the law for righteousness for everyone who believes. Sorry, but then you are beyond provoked by Jesus. We all want everyone to be saved, it's just not a biblical teaching.

Dear Skidder: Is the same many "made sinners" in Adam "made righteous" in Christ Jesus the Last Adam?

"Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. Dear Zoidar: What I desire, my friend, is perfect rectitude. Not everyone simply saved, every last broken wreck of Adam "made righteous".

People would love to have everyone saved. But it never is going to happen, according to God's Instructions - so if people go along with their errors, with the false gospel giving them false hope, they just continue in deceit/ deception/ and error more and more and more.
