And from Gears, my two fave weapons are the Torque Bow (think a grenade on an arrow) and the Sniper Rifle. Though I don't get too many headshots with that, so as an alternative I prefer the shotgun for close range combat, unless i have time to rip em up with the lancer, like if they're running up to me with a shotgun...

maybe this is a bit old-school... but the best weapen by FAR in any game would have to be from super Mario RPG. Bowser gets something called "the Hurly Gloves" and he tosses Mario into the enemies. Pure Genious!

Yes, it's real. It's hidden on one of the maps, and is very difficult to get to. But man, what an easter egg!!!!

The Chrono Trigger. Granted in the game it was not used as a weapon, but anything which will allow you to play with the time line is powerful. Then again, the Ryvius in and of itself was powerful, since anything that can create black holes is powerful, then again, that is not a video game...

Halo's way of hijacking is better, lol. You just board, smack the hull a little, and it's yours. I like the Needler, too. It's fun to make your victim shine pink before he explodes.

The gravity gun from Half-Life 2 is hands down one of the best weapons in any game to date, especially when it gets "modified" by the Combine confiscation fields...

There's nothing like being able to pull your enemies in with a tractor beam, and then launching them at other enemies, knocking them down in groups, rag-doll style (or shooting their bodies into the reactor stream in Episode 1 LOL).
