But my choice is from farcry. It would be the Feral Attack ability, where you claw your enemies with your hands. It's fairly powerful; get in 3-5 swipes in multiplayer, it takes them out pretty quickly. Also, it's fun to take out NPC's in single player in a single swipe.

Nah I 'd have to say the most rewarding sounds are the very evil cackle you make when you put a trapped backpack out in quake KQP.
Othe nice weapons
Konoko's backbreaker move.
The Mercury bow from oni while it's basically your sniper weapon and so it isn't very spectacular other than for doing lots of damage to ppl.... the premise behind it is very sinister; I'ts a baiscally a railgun that launches ultravelocity bolts that have a layer of frozen mercury around them... making even grazing shots very lethal.

The black hole gun in crysis should be great, or the ice gun but right now the Stouker Concussion Rifle is by far the best in any game. And dont think im talking about the nice 3d version, the one is Dark forces was the best of them.

Definitely the BFG, but not just any BFG, the BFG10K from Quake II.
It shoots this massive ball of energy that kills pretty much everything in its path. Rays shoot out from the ball in all directions dealing massive damage to anything that comes in contact with them. Finally, when it hits the wall or floor it explodes killing pretty much everything in a large radius.

OOOH!!! I just remembered!!! From the South Park game that was for PS and the N64, I would pick the Cow Launcher. You'd lock onto someone in multiplayer, then fire away. Totally unavoidable, and it's hilarious to see them run around with a cow on their head.

In most Star Wars games I prefer the double-bladed lightsaber as it has 'more slaughter per swing', but in other FPS I prefer sniping because of the increased accuracy and the safety of picking off targets from a distance. That said, I don't mind assault weapons.
Rocket launchers and det-packs can be somewhat entertaining to use especially when they set off at the right time to blow the enemy several metres in the air or off a nearby cliff to an untimely demise.

Guided weapons are fun especially in Games like descent two- you just find a hidden room and launch one out the door and prowl the tunnels with it.

Tricky but I like the time weapon from project eden (PS2) couple that with the energy drainer, slows your enemey down and you steal their energy.

Gears of Wars Boomshot. It's so ridiculous, if you don't blow them into pieces it can down them lmao, who gets downed from a rocket launcher? Ridiculous, but such a great weapon. It used to be a lot cooler cuz you couldn't down people with it so it took more skill cuz the missile arcs cuz it's like thrown out of the gun kinda. Another ridiculous one from Gears is the Hammer of Dawn if used properly. I mean c'mon, it's a target painter that after like 2 seconds of beeping fires a giant laser beam down from the sky that destroys everything and everyone in its path, including certain buildings. Another absurd weapon was the Counter-Strike AWP, one shot kills 90% of the time and very easy to use once you get good. But any good CS player can become extremely deadly with just about every gun but M4, AK, and esp. AWP stand out.

And from Gears, my two fave weapons are the Torque Bow (think a grenade on an arrow) and the Sniper Rifle. Though I don't get too many headshots with that, so as an alternative I prefer the shotgun for close range combat, unless i have time to rip em up with the lancer, like if they're running up to me with a shotgun...
