Halo is cool, but I only have it for PC. For some reasons though it lags, even though the computer I use for it is 2.8ghz, 128MB Radeon something and 512 RAM.

Yep read that comment 100 times. Simply Halo PC sucks compared to Xbox version and for no good reason

It does give you enough of a taste to want more out of the game and want Halo2 also... so maybe, just maybe it's a MS ploy to get you to buy an Xbox?

Halo Xbox = 1 to 4 player split screen, OR "up to 16 players via system link"

So you can have an 8v8 battle on Xbox as well. I must admit though, finding the other 15 players would be easier online

Funnily enough I am yet to find 3 other Xboxs, 1 hub, 4 copies of the game, and 15 other players all ready to play, all with the spare time on thier hands, all on the same day Allthgugh I quess I could use Xbox Connect to find the other players online

What I do like about HaloPC though is the ability to use Banshees in Multiplayer. Very cool!

IVE NEVER played x2 ......i look for it cuz i want to buy it but that game is so hard to find ......................

X2 is awesome, but I prefer X3. BTW, the reason that X2 is so hard to find is that supposedly the flashing when you destroy one of the bosses gave a lot of people epileptic seizures, so they didn't like stocking it (not even now, if you can find a place that carries SNES games). I don't believe that myself, since X3 has flashing also, but I dunno...

Anyway...my opinions:
PC = Starcraft and the the Brood Wars Expansion Pack

NES = Megaman 4 (first one I ever played, ok?), Metal Storm

SNES = Megaman X2 and X3, Rockman and Forte, Super Metroid, Seperation Anxiety, Stunt Race FX, Starfox, Macross: Scrambled Valkyrie, R-Type 3: The Third Lightning, and a few others that I can figure out if I hook my Dreamcast up again...

Genesis = Sonic 2 and 3, Sonic and Knuckles, Exosquad, anyone remember the Sega Channel?

Genesis 32X = Knuckles Chaotix (ok, so this was basically the only reason for someone to even get the 32X)

Saturn = Virtual On (yeah!)

Game Boy = Kirby's Dream Land, Pokémon Red/Blue (so sue me, the game was so addictive - same thing with Gold/Silver)

Game Boy Advance = Megaman Zero 1 and 2, Metroid Prime, Robotech: The Macross Saga, Sonic Advance, Kirby: Nightmare In Dreamland

Playstation = Megaman X4, Final Fantasy 7, Einhänder, R-Type Delta, Marvel vs. Capcom, Crash Bandicoot 2 and 3, Vigilante 8, (the demos of Blasto! and Jersey Devil they included on the Demo Disc)

Playstation 2 = Kinetica, Soul Caliber 2

XBox = Gun Valkyrie

Dreamcast = Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Sonic Adventure 1 and 2

N64 = Star Wars: Shadows Of The Empire, Rogue Squadron, and Episode 1 Racer; Starfox 64, Super Mario Kart 64, Extreme G, F-Zero X, Super Smash Bros., Neon Genesis Evangelion, Blast Corps

And from what I've seen, Custom Robo for the Gamecube looks pretty cool, but I've only played the in-store demo

Yeah thats what I like about the Raptor In UT2004 (the equivelent vechicle to the Banshee).

Yes you can fly, fire rockets, and hurl laser fire from the air... but anyone with a rocket launcher get's an easy Lock On. 2 hits from a guided missle and you're outta there sonny.

Brings the balance back

Too bad in Halo rockets can't lock, although that would make it way to easy to shoot the Banshee down because of its slow speed. Did they remove the chain gun off the Warthog in mp and replace it with rockets? Those guns shred Banshees in like 3 seconds.

In multiplayer HaloPC (demo anyway) you have Chain Guns on the back of some Warthogs, and rocket launchers on the back of others.

Yeah Banshees are a little slow. If your playing 1on1 thay can make an unfair advantage, but in a bigger battle, I find as soon as you jump in one, you are under fire from all sides and are quickly brought down.

I hesitate to offer up a new game for this category, since whenever someone says something like "Halo is the best game ever!" my response is usually :: old man voice:: Arrghh you darned kids and your pretty graphics! Why in my day we had really good games like Zelda and Metroid! They were 2d and had poor graphics and we liked em that way! All this being said, I think Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is up there. Before it came out, I would have said Super Metroid for SNES or Zelda: A Link to the past. I still say SNES is the best system ever made, but KOTOR is just mind-blowing....best....game....ever.

Gotta back you up plus add some years (im 29). I have set up an old 386 with Invaders, Pacman, Frogger and the like and IT ROCKS!

Game Play is the number 1 element! Doesn't matter how good the graphics are. Graphics will never get you hooked. Only game play and story will get you hooked.

So with those rules in place, add some nice 3D graphics and what do you get?
