Best places to learn Hebrew online for free?

I remember hearing about JHR, but I cant get the link I have for it to work.. whats the website now?

Any other good ones? I want to learn to read, write, and even speak if possible. I plan on going to isreal by the end of 2012. And really woluld love to have a understanding and basic knowledge of the language to help me there.

You can go to English Hebrew dictionary by Subject | Hebrew Audio CD Joel | Yaron Publishing and sign up for the free monthly newsletter with phrases on every subject. - They also have blogs with other interesting Hebrew tools etc

I know that I had learned a great deal from a man from Shalomtv,named Mark Golub and there is a shalom tv website(just google shalomtv) then there is a downloads section on the bottom left of the screen.He has some study sheets,also he teaches the Sephardic Hebrew pronunciation.Oh the sheets your wanting is called the Aleph-Bet.
Hope this helps you out some.Oh yes and I also ment to tell you he has some shows teaching this in depth that goes with the worksheets.I am uncertain if he plays these shows online though.But he might.

Try thehebrewlanguage.com They're really nice people there and don't discriminate Christians vs Jews. They helped me out a lot. I just wanted to learn the alphabet and it was to hard to find anyone in Arkansa.
