DVD+RW/CD-RWI have a working, stock Apple IIGS, at least it worked the last time I had room to set it up. And I could prolly put together a C64 with the parts I have laying around. Sorry, never liked the Vic20, so I passed on one. My other systems aren't near as cool, just a P1, and a couple Celerons--ick. P1 is so much more stable than the Celerons too. I have to resart them at least once a day, and I can leave the 120MHz run for weeks, It's just slow.Well, that's tough to beat... but if I show you pictures of my Xerox 820-II system (which will be working as soon as I replace two ICs) can we call it a draw?

Doofus begins druelingsimchat_torah said:Try this: Dual 2.8ghz Xeon P4's, 4 gig's 1600mhz RdRam, ATI Radeon x800 XT, 1.5 Terrabytes (that's 1,500 gigs) of 15k Fibre Channel (fiber optic) hard drive space, and a 21" viesonic flatscreen... of course, its all homebuilt with a phat modded case and water cooled
I think I'm going to finally bump going dual xeon's once the p5 hits (well, I know its not technically qualified as p5) and go with dual video cards. I've had dual xeons for sooo long. Funny thing is, I never really saw much of a performance difference between 2 and 4 processors (at least with gaming), so I've always stuck with 2.

Shuttle SN85G4V2 XPC
AMD Athlon 64 2800+
ATI Radeon 9600 128MB
70GB WD Raptor 10k RPM SATA (This thing SCREAMS!)
512MB Corsair XMS DDR4000 (1x)
He doesn't do much gaming, but he's all into Flash production. The A64 and the cas 2 memory would be nothing without the 10k Raptor.. man it makes such a difference.

I think those shuttle minis are so cool and small, fitting nicely on your desk in a VERY small area. Any cooling issues with those? What has kinda stopped me from buying one is that they only have a spot for one hard driveisn't that correct?
But you have only two flins.Sharky said:Got 5 pcs at my house. Coming in soon will be 6 PDA's with wireless and a server. Plus 3 laptops.![]()
