No, let's not let this thread die. Is that ice on a log, nerdysurfer? That is cool. And the DR pics, quantum man, are beautiful. Was that taken just this past summer? One of my daughters spent a month in the DR in 2003 helping a mission with their summer Bible School and last year she heard that of the nearly 35 children who attended only 6 survived the aweful flood and mudslides this past summer.

She was like, "Oh, I'll bet Paching is dead. And Bets. Oh....and I suppose so and so is too."

She was so grieved thinking of all the precious people that probably did not survive. The house where she had stayed was washed away in the flood and the missionaries who had been there had just come back to the States about two weeks before the flood happened, so no one was in it at the time. Wonder if you saw any of that while you were there.

Just learning about photography but thought you'd like to see a few shots. The photo that looks like there is something on the lens is actually snow flakes with a view of a sunrise in the background. Thought it turned out interesting. What do you think of them all?

Wonderful pictures in this post. Keep up the excellent work!

God Bless,
Charity

This is a black and white picture of my gorgeous cat, Tom - he's 10 and he's my baby!!!

I believe he knows he's your baby, too. If you've had him since you were 12 or so he has to be very much a part of your life. I'm so glad you've been able to keep this long. I had a dog about that long when I was growing up and in my mind he is the only dog that has ever really mattered to me. I hope you have many more years with your "baby."

Here's one of my pictures that I just figured out how to post directly into the post. You have to get them on the web and then enter its URL in the box (picture icon) above and it actually works. I'm delighted. I took this picture last week as a heavy rain was coming across the woods on the other side of the road from us.
