I haven't had the time to just go out and take photos in quite awhile...once exams are done and work settles down I'll have to get out and start up again.

In the meantime:

Thank you! The third was done in a darkroom, and the first two were taken with black and white film which I scanned on to the computer and then just played around with the contrast levels.

cool. its good to try it in both darkroom and in photoshop. photoshop is the digi darkroom actually. its funny. i like the 2nd the best btw.

Thanks. Yeah, I have a good time playing around with Photoshop. I'm not very good at using it, I might get a manual or something eventually, because I see a lot of people produce really cool things just from Photoshop.

PS - I took a look at your website, I really like it. Especially the Interpol concert photos, since they're my favourite band, haha. They're very nice.

well thank you. yeah interpol is a great band.

personally i wouldnt learn it from a manual. just mess around with photos using the image adjustments (theyre the best!!) and stuff. dont mind the filters... ; )
also you could search google for some handy tutotorials (google > photoshop tutorials)

hmmm .... the bottom shot of the haggis looks deceiving... and I mean it actually looks GOOD! however, the truth.. not so much!

haha I will follow up the lovely shot of haggis with a lovely pair of FEET!

these are not mine.. they belong to my cousin who has a fear of feet and everything associated with them so I took a close-up shot of her own so she can get over it!

My first shot of lightning. I was pleased. Took about 20 odd shots in the storm. Only 2 worth anything.

It was a huge storm. There was lightning everywhere. Really spectacular. Put a tiem delay on and managed to catch these.

It's a great pic! We tend to not get many storms like that in Scotland!

Got a nice picture up at the greenhouse in the town park of a fern sillhoetted against the roof - I like how the patterns contrast each other.
