  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I have three "best friends", people who are the closest to me. One is my spouse, one is a girlfriend I've known for 20+ years, the third is my dog. I'm friends with each of them for different reasons and in somewhat different ways, but what makes them "best friends" for me is the degree of closeness, trust, and caring we have for each other. It also has a lot to do with loyalty to one another.

By definition, there can be only one best of something.

If I offered to give you between 1 and 100 dollars, what would be the best financially for you to take one hundred 1 dollar bills, or five 20 dollar bills.

hi , i am not sure if this is the right thread....pls feel free to move it ....

well i am wondering,

1).Do you guys have bestfriends?
2)what makes u bestfriends with them?
3)can you have more than one?
4)also what is a best friend term to you?
5)do you tell them everything?
6)do you trust them 100% ?

1). Yes I do. Known him since college.
2). Hard to say. We share many things in common, we differ on many others. We respect each other and each others views greatly but we do not agree on everything. We became best friends after being flat mates for a while and discovering that we didn’t annoy each other nearly as much as expected to. We can go without seeing each other for months, and pick up our relationship where we left it without a second thought.
3). I would think so, but having even one is fairly rare. True friendship is much less common than people think, most friendships are little more than amicable acquaintances.
4). I’m not certain what you mean. If you mean what does a best friend mean to me, it is some one who is as dedicated to supporting you and your welfare as you would expect a family member to be and for no better reason than they like you.
5). Not everything no. Although there is little I would keep from him.
6). With my life.
