Hey Cozmo- shared favorite endings!

I posted mine at the end and scrolled up and saw yours. Don't you feel that was a foretaste of heaven image? After the horrors of prison, and the fears of life outside to arrive in a beautiful place with a friend who loves you. If we're so moved by this in a movie how beyond words incredible will heaven be!

Good analogy and very good point. It does fit well :)

Someone else mentioned it, but it deserves repeating:
No Way Out - 1980's Kevin Costner movie. Best ending ever.

I also have to agree with Primal Fear. The subject matter was so incredibly disturbing to me that I couldn't really endorse it or recommend it to my friends, but man, what an ending.

just to be different Troy and The Matrix-Revolutions, too many movies end on the same note. the good guy wins or something that concludes the move. both of these flicks make you think about whats going on and leve you hanging, for me i like to imagine what happend, something that you can talk about with other movie goers.

No question, Casablanca had the best ending of all time. All the sudden, it seems everything your cynical side had concluded was wrong, and just when you realize how complicated things are, Ilsa and her husband are gone.

"Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow. But soon and for the rest of our lives..."

"We'll always have Paris..."

"I think this is the beginning of a very beautiful friendship..."
