CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My favorite modern console is the cube. The PS2 may have a better selection of games, but Sony is very deeply evil and anti-consumer. The Xbox, well, if I want to play PC games at low resolutions, nothing's stopping me.
Among older consoles, I like the SNES and Genesis both, for different reasons. I have a permanent soft spot for the 3DO, which was the first console to have non-children's games. (I don't mean "adult" games == porn, I mean games with a bit more depth.)
The Sega CD is justified entirely by Lunar and Lunar 2. In some ways, I like the original versions better than the PSX remakes. The Genesis had Landstalker, the game of which Alundra was a pale shadow.

There are only two factors I consider when I consider if a game is good or not - is it challenging and is it fun? If it has both of those, then it shouldn't matter if the characters are furry love bunnies or if there is no bloody gore."
i didn't say that you should be emmbarrased, and i will add that i OWN a GC, it just annoys me that most people deni that its kiddy, but i think thats what makes it so different, and so fun.

I like SNES (chrono trigger!!) and Gamecube (ZELDA!!). Gameboy is alright to, depending on price

Old: SNES- it set the standard in todays market, unfortunately they never kept the standard.
New: Playstation2- You just cant get any better right now, especially with the hard drives coming out.
