CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

LOL the 1st FF games? Man even thoughs graphics could have played on a PC. Most of them were 16 Bit Bitmap as a static background with a few animated objects over the top, and that was at the FF7 stage on PS1.Newsboy1900 said:

Games are created on development PC's. Developed and tested, with access to a Development version of the target consol.
The ONLY thing a consol has over a PC at any given time is that it has a set spec for developers to work for. PC games have to be flexible to allow for a variety of specs.
Consols are never more competant than a high end PC at any given time. They are cheeper.

My PC rocks and I probably game more on it than my Xbox at present, but only because Im yet to get Xbox live, and I have more PC games than consol games (even after I binned my "coppied" games collection in a fit of consience)
These days to get a PC running Good games, you dont need to spend too much, but still MUCH more than just buying a consol.
The Xbox, really... is a PC that plugs into the TV and has game pads and 1 spec that developers can create for. Perfect!
LOL so it was MY thread that sparked this off. I just had to trace back to see where it all went wrong.
I think my key line in question is
"Yep PC crushes all. Lets face it, the games for all of the above are CREATED on PC to begin with."
So I said NOTHING about playing on PC at that stage OR anything about them being 1st released on PC. NOTHING AT ALL!!!!!
NOT A THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I said "CREATED" on PC. CREATED!!!!!
Anyway..........
Oh and when I said "All of the above" I meant all the mentioned consols as the thread was "what is the best CONSOL". Sorry if that was confusing for you
So, who took the thread off topic. As my quote shows, while showing my appreciation for PC gaming, in responce to another post, I was pointing out that the topic in hand was CONSOLS and NOT PC's.

ahh. the ddr errors. well do a simple google search about it, and there is a site that shows how to take it apart, and you get a vacume, and you can try to clean it. but be carfull, you can damage your ps2 doing this, and only do it if it is out of warranty.

Yeah as soon as you crack that puppy open you just void the warranty. I did clean the cd lens a few times it worked fine. On the side note, the oldest models(which I have) of PS2s seem to break down. Or thats what least I heard from others. Standing the machine up vertically does the trick to at times. It couldn't read my Tribes disc, thats because the older models have a hard time reading the blue colored discs because they are lighter than the ordinary silver bottoms for some reason.

Yes it is LOL turn ur ps2 on without a disc hit triangel at the consoul version it has a AUTO DIGA on or off
then put a NEW game in and then goto the disc browser
it will take a few min but its copying and updating the drivers on that disc
