Best and worst Sci Fi movie ever

WORST: There was this TV movie my sister and I watched really late at night called Race Against Time that was extraordinarily hoaky. Some of the ideas might have had a little potential, but it was so low budget and poorly made that it was just dead. Another movie that had all the same problems was Absolon. We saw it at the video rental store and it looked like it had a really neat plot. It actually did, but my goodness was it make hoaky! That movie was so bad that it was funny, but still terrible.

BEST: Good grief, I don't know what to put here. I really liked I, Robot. There's an old silent sci-fi movie I like called Metropolis that I just saw recently that was very interesting. I really liked it. The main problem with that was that the main guy really overacted even for a silent movie. It had a lot of Biblical concepts incorperated into it for a very interesting plot. This movie has a kind of interesting history in that the original movie was just shown once in theaters, then recalled and re-edited and given a completely new plot. The version I saw was a restoration that TCM had done in an attempt to put back together what the original would have been like. Unfortunately about a third of the original footage was missing. Kind of sad.

I think the Godzilla movies should go somewhere but I'm just not sure where...

Worst- Highlander II (Highlander II- The Sickening "They should have made only one!")
and Attack of the Clones also rates somewhere on my worst list as well
(although the trailer for ep III Revenge of the Sith looks awesome!!! I mean, Palpatine with a lightsaber! Sweetness)

My worst list could go on and on. There've been more bad Sci-Fi movies made than the good ones'll ever catch up with.

Worst - Something on the Sci fi channel called American Cyborg: Steel Warrior closely followed by Battlefield Earth. They ruined a good book.

Favorite: Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan closely followed by Aliens.
Worst: Man, that's a tall order to fill. I actually hated Event Horizon, but it can't be the worst.

Worst: Anything the Sci-fi channel is proud to say "we made this" (e.g. something stupid like "Snakes: the slithering terror") I think the Sci-fi channel has stopped showing MST3K because the movies on there (without the jokes) were better than the Sci-fi channel originals.
