RNC pounces after Sanders says Biden could be ‘most progressive’ president since FDR
Just days after Joe Biden declared he would "transform" the country if elected, U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont predicted Wednesday that Biden could become the "most progressive president" since Franklin Roosevelt.

Sanders' remarks -- which drew a quick response from the Republican National Committee -- came as a joint Biden-Sanders task force released a wide-ranging set of recommendations for the Democratic Party’s convention platform.

"The compromise they came up with, if implemented, will make Biden the most progressive president since FDR," Sanders told MSNBC. "It did not have, needless to say, everything that I wanted, everything that Biden wanted."

Who will Biden be tomorrow?

A person who unites, not divides.

Who was he yesterday?

A person who united, not divided.

Who is he today?

A patriot who loves America. A person who seeks to re-unite a divided America. A competent leader, with a realistic plan for repairing all the damage we've taken in the last few years.

Pretty much everything Trump is not.

Socialism here we come.

Everybody on the old dirt road are burying their money before the tax man comes and gets it.

The American healthcare system has the dubious distinction of ranking as one the most expensive in the world as a % of GDP and yet millions of its citizens are left uninsured or under-insured with high deductibles!

Canada, with which America shares 5250 miles of border, has had a universal healthcare system for approximately 50 years, spends far less on medical care ($4974 vs $10,586), requires no deductibles, substantially lower prescription drug costs and enjoy relatively few personal bankruptcies due to medical expenses!

In fact, the graph below shows that Canada was spending a slightly larger % of GDP in 1970 than America on healthcare!

Having been exposed to the horror stories associated with the American healthcare system, Canadians, even conservative Canadians, have no interest in exchanging their current medical model for its US counterpart!

Living in Vermont, Bernie Sanders should be familiar with the Canadian healthcare system - it doesn't require a "socialist" to recognize the obvious advantages!

It's not that hard to understand. In a private system, the insurance companies have to take their cut before anyone else gets anything.

Everybody's making money.

Which is why our system cost so much more than national health care. That money doesn't just come from nowhere; it comes out of our pockets.

Pay for what you get.
Enjoying mine.

What happens when you and/or members of your families are hospitalized by the pandemic with little or no insurance - how many millions of Americans will go bankrupt and never be able to recover financially?

Those living in Canada still have to worry about their health - but they'll never receive a bill!

But in Canada, no one will ever make a nickle off the pandemic. To a grifter, that seems like a terrible waste.

America will lead the way as usual.

I talked with three Canadians and while one said he enjoyed their health care system the other two said it was terrible.

So what have we got in the States?
4 out of 5 pleased?
Sounds better to me.

Why is it so different here on the old dirt road?
Where ALL have health insurance.
Hard to understand all the complaining.
Maybe only coming from a very few?
Out there somewhere I guess?

Just wondering?
Do you have health insurance?

Well, let's take a look...

Healthcare System Ratings: U.S., Great Britain, Canada
Of the three, satisfaction is highest for Canada, and lowest for the U.S. As you see, about 57% of Canadians are very satisfied or somewhat satisfied with their system. In the U.S., 72% are very dissatisfied or somewhat dissatisfied with the system.

I think Gallup did a better job of sampling than you did.
