Benny Hinn?

Benny Hinn fleeces poor people of their savings, which doesn't sound very loving or Godly to me. He tells them that their monetary contribution directly affects their faith and their likelihood of getting healed. The money factor is totally entwined in his message.

People keep saying "Don't touch the lord's annionted! Let God deal with Benny..." --but we are our brothers keeper! We are tasked with tending the sheep. If we see a wolf hurting a sheep, we are supposed to do something about it, not just sit there and hope God will sort it out.

I don't believe Benny Hinn has ever performed a ligitimate healing. its just circus tricks and power of suggestion like at any carnival side show.

The promise "give and it shall be given you again good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over" is a sovereign promise of the Lord Jesus Christ. Any minister who does not teach that is not worthy.

When Jesus saw the widow woman put all she had to live on in the collection He did not rush over to try and stop her, is He then also a fleecer of the sheep?
Why are you so consumed about money? was Peter a fleecer of the sheep? when he sat there as the church came and laid money at his feet? are you jealous of Benny~beware my dear, that does not mean we are not to weigh and judge everything, are you the only spiritual christian? who has discernment? what about the thousands of brothers and sisters who love Benny and other? who are going in THEIR name as well as Jesu's name to win the battles of the Lord.

Why do you not open your eyes to see and your ears to hear for yourself whether Benny is a true servant of God, Benny will not mind if I apologise on his behalf for not being perfect.

I had the opportunity to go to one of his meetings. My friend took me because she knew of my illness and she also has some of her own. So we went to one they had in Florida.

I remember waiting in a really long line outside to get inside to the event. They had a tent outside too, with a television in it and chairs.

We got to go inside because we had tickets in advance. Once inside you couldnt take in food or drinks, which didnt so much bother me at first until I saw the concession stands. Which while I was outside, you knew there were a lot of poor people, and these stands were very expensive.

Also inside they were selling all manor of things. This also bothered me.

Then we had set down at last to our seats. You know it was weird, he spoke about what God was going to do. Also he yelled at this one lady during the service for speaking in tongues (I personally dont have a problem with that, but I am sure it didnt make her feel too good...perhaps he knew there wasnt an interpreter, or maybe he just doesnt believe in tongues, who knows).

Now see when I went to this service I really wanted my healing. I mean that is why I came to that meeting. But he did it weird. He doesnt do the laying on of hands. He expects you to believe in a healing for yourself, and that God will move through the audience and heal you. Then you must go up front and announce it to everyone, and he checks it out to see if it is true. If the person can really hear, or see, or walk...

Then part way through the service he gets himself all filled up with the spirit, and begins to prophecy on his own behalf to everyone about what God is going to do through him. Something about making amputated legs grow back and stuff like that. (Now I am sure you have seen this because he was proud of this service and had it played on television, I saw it later).

But he was like on the ground, holy roller style, saying he felt the annointing.

Now see I cant say any of this is true or not. It beats me, but I didnt like it.

Now ask me why...

Because I didnt recieve a healing. And so many came for a healing, it was unbelievable, and people were left out in the tent to view. He didnt even do like Jesus or the disciples and apostles, like laying on of the hands, or speaking a healing to pass on those who believe- so it would be the two agreeing. So I left disappointed and hurt that God was suppose to move around that room, and he didnt love me enough to heal me. Yet he did for the people in the front row.

Also I didnt like the buying and selling. This was not a time for that. It wasnt like this man was having a concert. And he can sell his books in book stores like everyone else. Why do it at a church gathering. It is suppose to be about God.

(Dont get me wrong, I do understand that they need to pay for the colosium they were in. But you know what, at church is not the time for it. It made it come across as- this house shall be a house of prayer and you have made it a den of thieves, type thing).

After that, I refused to watch Benny again, and that was the very first time I had ever heard of him. Now I watch TBN and know who he is.

Let me ask you this, why do you need Benny Henn for a healing, if all he does is let God do it alone anyways. He lets you have the faith, and God.

It was after this I realized who I really needed to go to for my healing. Stop putting your trust in mere humans (Jeremiah 17:5 This is what the Lord says: Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans and turn their hearts away from the Lord). I needed to go the God myself, in him alone would I find a true healing.

So I really cant lay it all on Benny Henn, now can I? Because my faith was wrong. I went expecting to be healed, but not by God, by Benny Henn. So I did just what the Lord tells us not to do, put our trust in man. (But see we as believers do it in an odd way. We want to believe for a healing, but for some reason we think someone else's faith will be stronger than our own. So surely we will be healed through this person...sadly that apparently isnt how it works).

Now here is what I believe, when healings happen, it will be like unto Jesus and his Apostles, or even healings from the Old Testiment, it will be immediate, and no doubt from God. We can read in the gospels how Jesus did it, or we can even see in Acts some amazing ways the Lord worked through his followers.

For me, I think someone who really loves you will place their hands on you, like they care, with compassion. Something doctors (even) have forgotten was their practice. It shows that you care.

Or like Jesus, speak it forth.

Or even in amazing ways such as Peter whose very shadow healed.

And if we need old testiment references, we have Elisha references, who raised a boy from the dead. And also professed a true God in Israel, and caused a man with leperosy to be healed in the name of God in the Jordan River.

see now for me, I must look to the truth, and study it from scriptures. see this true faith for myself, and how it is revealed in each person who believes.

The only way to know a believer is by his fruit.

God's word does not lie. When God said you shall have life- you shall life. Just believe with your whole heart that He Can. Really, we have to have a relationship with God to where we don't have to seek people. A relationship that we established where we talk to God with an honest heart - if somethings not right or fair tell God. If something good and great then tell God! Have your own relationship so God can reveal to you what he is doing in your life. Stay Blessed!

Well let me tell you the secret to Benny Hinn’s ministry. It’s not the power that takes place in the miracles. It’s the way that he leads people in worship before the Lord and points them to come before Him.

The reason why Benny Hinn is still being used by God unlike Kathryn Kuhlman is because he always gives glory to God. Kathryn Kuhlman wanted the glory for herself and that is why God is not using her.

Most pastors, God uses for a short time. But not Benny Hinn.

Regarding his giving glory to God -- I would disagree. He gives lip service, but his actions are anything but.

On yesterday's show he really lost grasp. He said that everyone's Christian life did not begin at the cross, or at their moment of conversion -- it began with the day of Pentecost.

I don't usually watch him because I get so upset with these quirky things, along with the ethics of the organization's administration.

It is wonderful that his organization is so well set up to reach people around the world, but what is he feeding people... His teaching is like those bagels with the fake blueberries.

It's so true that all people (and Christians) are flawed. I can't live up to the perfect biblical example that is Jesus. No one can.

Regarding Benny Hinn, though, let's all stay aware and not easily be swept up with the show.

Also, I advise everyone to prayerfully withhold their financial donations until Mr. Hinn decides to be more transparent with his ministry. At the moment he is not letting himself be accountable to anyone.

Where are the donations that were collected for the 'healing center' that he canceled construction on?

OR.... he isn't a godly man to begin with. He certainly doesn't display the fruits of the spirit, and it is therefore no surprise his marriage is not stable.

Brokeness in our world is a sad thing... especially broken marriages.. going through a separation myself.. and it has nothing to do with being ungodly.. we live in a fallen world.. and we fail as humans quite easily.. This man whatever you think of him is a brother.. GOD says love and forgive and bless one another.. do good to those even who persecute you.. it is not our job to judge but to pray and love..
