So sorry to hear that. I know it is of little consolation, but what I've discovered when looking back is that events like this are often a blessing in disguise. Trusting in God is paramount during these times and His blessings are often how we least expect them.

I was pondering over the loss of the job over the weekend and what I kept coming back to was the fact that whether I had this job or whether I get another job, the Lord is always with me (had a kick up the backside in my spirit to remember Joshua 1:9 yesterday).

God is so GOOD. He is a GOOD Shepherd. May His gentle and healing and quieting and comforting presence minister to you as only He can as He commences to heal you every place you hurt, and in His timing, replace heartache and sorrow and grieving and double and triple dollops of loss with gladness, and joy as this chapter closes and another opens to blessings falling like rain, and extraordinary favor.
