Beginning to Write a Musical...

I have written many plays and sketches--and songs. But never fused them together. Now, after much consideration and inspiration-I think I am going to dive in and start writing a musical... in hopes it being produced by my Creative Arts Team at my church one day. I have a rough draft of what is going to be about. And I am about to start Character Development, and maybe begin to write some songs that might appear in the show. I am excited, it's like a blank canvas--who knows what it is going to look like... ... Does anybody else write?

So far all I have is two basic peices of music. A violin peice, and a small bit of a song I am writing...that I am going to use as the theme. And I want to name it "The Long Road Home"--that's all I have right now.

Yeah keep up the good work man! Writing a musical is a big task but it's really great when its done -- keep us updated and let us know if you need any help!
