Where do I start, and what do I have to read to be able to play. Also, nowhere in the player's handbook does it say how conflicts are resolved. How do I know what my character can or can't do? I'd like to play, but I need this issues cleared up first.

ok, if you're going to play in the stories existing in the Christia universe, please check out the background to Christia forum to read up on the information to this world.

also check out the player's guide thread located at the top of the OOC forum.

and as for what your characters can do or can not do, that depends on the story and the universe you're in. For example, Christia is in a fantasy setting, then your character cannot have guns, and what is your character's occupation? think in term of the setting.

after doing all these things, if you are interested in a story and is still unsure of what to do, the best thing is to pm the thread starter for help, since he/she begins the story and he/she should know the situations in the story best plus the direction of it.

the only dice rolling game currently active is 'the pupil of Chao eyes' by Flame in the "New World" forum.
and i think he does all the rolling.

It's narrative. If you want to hit your target, you narratively describe it. If you think it's more dramatically appropriate to miss, you describe your miss. This is not like the rp'ing you and I are used to, Bo.

Ah.... ....okay. Any specific bonuses to being a certain race? I sorta leaning toward making a Troll Mercenary or Witch/Vampire Hunter type guy. Ooops, that last one wouldn't be popular with some of the wiccans. OK, a Troll mercenary or Vampire Hunter.
