Praying for supernatural strength, and special blessings upon you. That you would find relief.
"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." (2 Corinthians 12.9)

Well, you must have gotten used to it by now, and figured the pay, your bills and promotion prospects, right?

Yeah, i'm just really anxious about my parents, mostly. I feel like stuck. Like a bird in a cage, just working to pay all the bills.

Well, you're doing it for them, which is really commendable, right?

But also occasionally, you must feel you want to do something for yourself right? that may cost a bit but will be something really personal.

Kind of, break out of the cage a bit...

Yeah, I'm a simple girl, seeing others happy is enough for me and I just long for companionship other than that, I don't really ask for much. (But you just gave me an idea for a tattoo! Lol like maybe a cage with a bird flying out ).

I think you also intend a Christian fish <>< for the nape, right?

Maybe the cage and flying bird at another placement?

It would probably be sensible just to get a non-committal quote from a parlor near you, so you can budget for it in the long term; and it might in fact cost less than you think, if it's small.

Yes, a lot of nurses that you are with probably have them on the wrist area, right?

So did you ever non-committally visit a parlor, just to look around, and see a portfolio or two?

Would be useful to have some idea in the meantime about what either one of those options might cost you, right?

Tattoo artists don't tend to pressurize visitors to parlors; it's unprofessional; it's in their interests that their client be completely satisfied before they start inking; this is why non-committal visitors coming in to look at portfolios are expected and welcomed. You're gradually getting your ideas; and a parlor visit to look around does help ink ideas to mature.

There are, but too busy to think about it for now
Oh, you have a tight schedule, right?

Literally it's like being a bird in a cage, isn't it? (hence the inspiration for one of the tattoo projects).

PS: Yes, you want something permanent to show for it, right? that expresses you and your faith.

This is sensible, yes.
(Good quote from 2 Cor. 4.18 there!)

I've been dealing with a lot of anxiety at work, mostly the day before work, it is like my body dreadfully anticipates the high stress approaching. Anyone experience something similar? What do you do to cope? Any practical advice?

i guess it is probably difficult for you to find a position with a different specialty?

i have this family members who is a nurse from what i have been told working in retirement home "can" be less stressful however the danger of that is, at least that is what i have been told, is once you get into that area and works for a number of years you may lose some of the skills needed to go back to hospitals again which limits your options should you need them

either way God knows your present and future ask Him to guide you in all decisions
