Curious. I would have expected them to carry the Supreme Pontiff's celebration from Rome. Or did they do that already? If so, why not replay that than a four year-old liturgy? Hmmmm....might be because of the "emptiness" this year.

In any case, I must say I'm very grateful to be able to watch the Holy Week liturgies celebrated by His Holiness in Rome. There is something precious and beautiful about seeing the ancient Roman Rite celebrated by the Patriarch of Rome himself in St. Peter's Basilica, even in these extraordinarily "empty" times. The translation and narration were also done well by Sr. Bernadette. Vivat papam.

A thanks to all the bishops, priests, brothers, and others offering the holy liturgies via video for the faithful!
