  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

This was basically my beard when I had one. I also have Bruce Lee hair sometimes. So if you wannna know what I look like with a beard, this is as close as you're ever gonna get.

Dude, no way. Maybe you meant Jackie Chan or Jet Li, but not Bruce Lee.:p

aka the "summer sweater" :D

I just threw up in my mouth. Thanks, Mark.

You two are hilarious. :D :D

And a whole thread dedicated to beards? You have my stamp of approval. Beards can be so nice if they're well groomed. Yes, men with beards…
I have to say, I'm a fan of the shorter and trimmed beard though. The stubble look is good too. Yeeeessssss stubble.

Nope. It's not over until you show us all your beard, Chris.

I always said one of these I will grow out my hair long and a beard like a hippie but I can never bring myself to actually do it.

Might not be advisable in the Bay Area with your political views. ^_^

Um, well, allow me to be the first to say...you should definitely do that one day. That is all.

what are your thoughts on goatees?

My gut reaction is to say yes to goatees. I guess it depends on the person, but typically yes!

But riddle me this… a goatee, moustache and stubble? Wooooah

I've always thought if I were to suddenly wake up as a guy, the first thing I'd do is grow a beard. I think I'd look pretty hot. :D
Lolololol.

Totally feel the same way!
The next closest thing is marrying guy with a fantab. beard.

More subscribing. The popularity of beards is...astounding.
And there are those who say women don't like beards. Pfft!

I lost my "man-cred" a while back. Thinking of growing it back. lol

Full on beard, not the goatee I had for so long either. I miss it a bit, but I was trying to get a job at a store where you can't have more than a mustache (and even then, it couldn't touch your upper lip). Then again, maybe go back to 'chops? Maybe.

Do the beard. You get bonus points if it's long enough that you can braid the chin.

I don't think I have pics, but my goatee was at one point. I really should have then. hahaha

But generally, my hair is too curly to get that long without being ridiculous. I generally keep it fairly neat anyway - work and classes and all that jazz.
